In the Last thread, our heroes were saved from the clutches of the evil government by two burst warriors, Kaedae and Haruto, who took the back to their base to teach them the art of the Burst Warrior. Now, they've just been assigned their first mission, and it's time to see if they really have what it takes.

"As mentioned before, I would like to go to the building near the museum, I am curious to see what it is they had intended to do to us and perhaps save others from such a fate."

Thomas leaned back. "There might be other people there that need help being transported, in case what you guys said about us being transported there was true. I think I would be best heading towards the museum as well."

"I'm going with Nicholas to the building next to the museum ... I want to see what the government's would have done to us," I say, slowly drinking my coffee.

"Alright, well, we have four people for the museum, then. The lack of people going to the guard post makes me...a little hesitant." Kaedae shook her head as she took out a oencil and wrote down their names on the map, next to where they were going to go.

"Well prepare to be even more concerned," Jasmine said with a chuckle. "I'm heading to the museum."

"I...guess I'll go to the other place. The outpost." Spring glanced to the only other one going with him so far and sighed. This was going to be weird.

"...The plan for the building near the museum will be to secretly go into the place, secrectly take any data possible, and rescue the citizen if necessary, and secretly take out any opposition of that right? I could lead the team there, while you two senior focus on the police station then."

I said to them.

"I mean, the police outpost is very likely to be the most dangerous of the two. Even so, we should still have one senior on each mission. And if anyone is undecided, they could go to the outpost as well. That should help even things out, right?"

Starter Pack said:

"You have a point. It's just a suggestion."

"Okay, so. You...two, are going to the outpost I guess." She wrote down a few more names and then her own name and Haruto's. "Haruto will be following the museum group, while I'll be helping those heading to the outpost. Now, does anyone have any questions?"

"Uh, we don't normally have that kind of information," Kaedae admitted as she rubbed the back of her head. "We just...know for a fact that both areas are heavily guarded. The outpost more so, considering...those are where all the guards stay when not assigned."

Diogo remained silent for a moment as he considered his options, before the Trainer came to his conclusion. "I'll go to the outpost," Diogo decided.

Thomas shrugged. "Well, looks like that settled that, for the most part."

"Alright, if that's the case then everything iiiis...all set." She placed her pencil down and smiled at all of them. "I suggest you guys just..do what you want today. I'd prefer an emphasis on training, but we aren't going to the buildings for a while, so...go ahead and have fun, after breakfast."

And then they all dismiss, to meet up later today.

——————————

Evening seemed to roll around incredibly quickly. The two groups would descend upon Pewter City, and they would take to the streets. They had been told not to be in their burst form, as it would look suspicious as they stepped into the city. Haruto's group had gone into the museum proper, and they were on the second floor, which gave them a good view of the building they were about to infiltrate. The sun was setting. This moment was perfect.

"Alright, there she is. Not as guarded as the outpost, but still ain't gonna be easy." He spoke casually as he glanced at some hunk of meteorite they kept in a box for show. They needed to look casual. "So, I want to hear what you can brainstorm up first. Got any ideas?"

Meanwhile, Kaedae's group took up shop in a small alleyway that was next to the Pokémart. The building they were going after was a few blocks away, but they should know where it is. "Alright, so, I don't want you people doing anything too risky, okay? It's dangerous there. I don't want any losses"

She crossed her arms over her chest and glanced out from the alleyway. "So, you got a plan or do I have to supply one myself?

"Well, Porygon can travel through data, perhaps that could be used to open a path inside without needing to break in?"

"I'll check in first."

I and Riolu then hold hand together, as if we're having fun, and we then together using aura to look at the ins and outs of the building.

Copter and Charley looked at each other before Charley spoke "Honestly, I say if we rush them and don't give them a chance to react we can get what we need get out."

Aura doesn't allow you to see the ins and outs of the buildings, but it allows you to see how many people are in this scientific building. As far as you can tell there are a little around twenty people inside, though it's hard to tell which are guards, common staff and scientists.

"If you turn into data you'd be the only one in there, right?" Jasmine asked. "Ain't that a little dangerous?"

"I could remain data as long as needed to open a path, then I'd let the rest of you in, however, I would need an entry point, anything that can transfer data would do."

"Well, don't got anything like that on me." She glanced to the rest of the group. "You guys got any ideas?"

There wasn't much to discern their emotions really. Just indifference, some were slightly upset about...something. Then-what was that? Some very clear fear coming from in there. Intense fear, as well.

"You sure charging them is a good idea?" Kaedae asked Charley, staring at him intently. "You really want to cause a ruckus in public, on the streets of Pewter? That could compromise both missions."

"Good point but we knock out everyone before they can react. I DO have hypnosis so that is at least a mildly viable plan."

"And what? Wouldn't they have to look at you, somehow? That's how most of them work. One person falls down and everyone knows what's happening."

"I really don't think charging in is the best idea," Spring muttered.

Fear?

"I finished checking. There're about 20 people in there, though I can't grasp who is who yet...I does pick up real intense fear within them, so that's probably the victim. I also pick out indifferent and slight upset feeling, so that's probably the scientist and the guard."

I said, while honing in on the fear emotion.

"Hey, that's not my job. I'm just here to tell you if it's a bad idea." She rolled her eyes . "You really wanna draw attention to yourself?"

"Can't we just...sneak in...somehow?"

((Everything what group are you even in I don't remember)

"You plan on frying everything in there? That might kill what we're coming in here for, unless you think they keep a paper copy of everything. You wanna take that risk?"

"As I said, I can go in there through data, that wouldn't require any significant damage, we just need something I can enter, from there I can find you guys a way in. I'm certain they at least have cameras, those should certainly work."

@Museum People

"Alright, but how the hell you gonna get to them?" Jasmine asked as she leaned against the wall, looking the data boy up and down. "I mean those cameras or whatever gotta be pretty far away.

@Andy The fear that you were trying to focus on was...difficult to really hone in on. It seemed like the person was at the very back of the facility, in some kind of fetal position.

"Well, I can turn into data in the physical world, as some of you may have seen in the sparring match with Kaedae, I merely need to make contact with something that I can travel through, like the camera and that'd be how I get in. I'd imagine there would be at least one camera on the outside of the building."
