I figured your rants were coming from a place of hatred for Pokemon. When it comes time to do actual work of course you're conveniently missing every time. It didn't even use Pokemon Masters* scaling, all of it came from PLA.

We're not deleting any profiles, by the way.

Theres no hatred for Pokemon on my end, and you blaming anyone who disagrees with you for that is hindering.

I've got a life and more important shit to do tbh. This isnt my job and i have no ties to it. I do make Pokemon profiles and i format them the best way i can, even though i heavily disagree with the stats most of the time.

I had nothing to do with your Galaxy team stuff. the Staff decided that independently, i just took issue with Calem and Gloria so you can quit being pissy @ me thanks

This is a lawnmower capable of outright killing Pokemon. Ofc it's gonna scale to their reactions. That's like asking if we're actually gonna scale a Terminator to soldier's reaction speeds.

From what I can tell, there hasn't been any Quest discussion. I made the Mewtwo profile years ago, assuming it couldn't scale to the mainline games due to how different in lore it was. I assume it'd be scaled to the mainline one now though

B) I haven't made a plan, i literally just suggested it

C) Ive made loads of Pokemon profiles lmao. Most of the ones you've made are spinoff stuff and lawnmowers

Go directly connects to the Pokemon Let's Go games, so that's why it's canon (and the Let's Go games are treated by Game Freak as mainline, and they connect to the other mainline games through Pokemon Home).

Wrong again, they've crossed over enough that we know they use similar scaling. That's why the anime versions of the Creation Trio are even above Universal.

I didn't say you copied it, I said CAN be copied because of how similar her progression is. Except Dynamax Togekiss.

That actually isn't why they're connected, LGPE is an alternate universe too. It's because you can send Pokemon directly from GO to mainline games, and said transfer is canon.

Lets Go are 'mainline', but they're separate timelines at best. They don't follow R/B and arent comparable to the rest of the actual games. Mfing Trace is the champion

Lets Go was made in order to drag the casual huge fanbase of Pokemon Go into the games. It is NOT a reason to be scaling a mobile game meant to take place in real life as if thats mainline. Its literally just a money-grabbing added mechanic, its got no consideration of lore or implications.

And even if it was, what makes you think that because a Golem has a default dodging animation, much like every other pokemon, thats scaled and animated independently to a Solar Beam animation...that this now scales EVERY rando base pokemon to FTL-Massively FTL levels of speed.

Like i deadass can't believe this is what we are using to scale things with. Why are we trying to do this with Pokemon???

If you mean how Pokemon can dodge moves like Solar Beam out of 'affection', then yh thats not really enough.

Not only like you said, do we not get visual aid, but there was obviously no lore-given thought or context when making the implications of like, lets say a Slugma, dodging light.

Otherwise Solar Beam is another 100% accuracy move in game terms (And evasion is based on things like Double Team and Minimize which imply they simply miss the target rather than the target being able to dodge them). We really shouldnt be using the game mechanics to scale like this.

We already went over how the canon works, the current policy accepts anything remotely connected to the core series of games, notably including the anime and the manga per general statements for the purposes of indexing wild species, as well as anything that is meant to expand the worldview of Pokemon (which includes nearly anything official with a plot). Only trainer profiles and specific Pokemon pages (say, Ash's Pikachu of the anime) would be limited to their own continuity in particular as each one is an specific character by nature, bar those playable in the core series for the reasons discussed before.

I'd think multiple profiles would still be better as often such characters are unrelated identity-wise, just cross-link as needed to simplify indexing (say, "can have any Pokemon transfered from Trainer X, Trainer Y, Trainer Z...").

Well, I will say that I forgot the main reason Go is canon is because you can directly connect to it with Pokemon Home and send Pokemon from it to the mainline games (that's actually one of the only ways to get Meltan and Melmetal, after all).

Let's Go is more of a Pokemon Yellow remake than Red & Blue, and honestly, they aren't that different from Yellow. The main difference is Trace, and that's about it.

There are other feats, too. I'm pretty sure Golem's being the only ones on pages was just a result of Pokemon canon being split for a year or two.
