What differentiates a 4-D plot hax from 3-D plot hax and how can you say a plot hax is 4-D and not 3-D. or is plot hax by default 4D?

affecting the entire universe would mean affecting all Space-time for 4D
in that sense, the plot they are manipulating should supersede spacetime to affect it in the entirety then they would be rewriting the entire universe and not just affecting it by domino effect to be granted 4D unless they simply do it against someone who is 4D by nature or physiology

i guess by default its still 3D then. I'll wait for some 2nd opinion to be sure

You gauge the potency the same way you do with any power: by feats.
If it has 4-D feats, then it is 4-D plothax. If it only has 3-D feats, then it is 3-D plothax.
The only benefit plothax has over other forms of reality warping at the same level is its priority, since anything else would technically be part of the plot.
