Pillar Chase 2 General Discussion Thread

inkfell is a very particular case, like i said being literally bendy. but i'd say it's coherent to scale valem to vapor and rosemary

also, shape is currently working on a profile for niloticus since he will now be the base for pc2's AP scaling

I see, in the "who would win" Tierlists by Blade
Valem and Inkfell are Always put on Equal Tiers, However this is not really evidence, and doesn't mean They share the Same abilities, only that they basically scale to Eachother Equally

Anyways other than that, How do people add Audio Files, I've been trying to add Some to My Valem Sandbox eiejjw

"Valem is quite the intriguing individual to analyze. For what we know, he's an entity that rather than just murdering his victims conventionally, prefers to apply stealth, to trick his victims before making them go through their inevitable demise. He also has a knack and a liking for "tricking" since when using "''Demonic Illusion''" he can be heard trying to trick the player into following and trusting him, being overall an intelligent and clever killer.
In other aspects aside for murdering, Valem could have some sort of superiority complex judging by his ''Double Trouble Interactions'' and Quotes from "''Tricker's Truth''". In the latter, he is seen looking down on and denigrating other monsters, commenting on their tactics, their sometimes tragic backstories or just from their race (Valem has a particular distaste for humans). This hatres for humans is also seen when Valem is seen making demeaning comments even against his own people, as seen in his ''Double Trouble Interactions'' when; for example, he judges Vapor for being a human before transforming into a Demon and (allegedly) having a more preferable execution when killing humans, or when he demeans Rosemary for not being completely emotionless and still remembering her past as a human."
 
also i'd like to add that Valem and Sam could be ones to have their own "Relationships" sections, since it's been heavily implied they've met before, but we'd have to wait for blade to reveal more information regarding the demon kind and their relationship with sam

also what should I put in Valem's classification, Should i just put "Demon", "Low Tier Demon" or "High Tier Demon"
as according to the Lore, There are Multiple Tiers of Demons, tho I'm kinda confused on Where Valem is Situated on that Tier System

the phrase said in Valem's Double Trouble Interaction with Vapor "You only exist because WE allow you to" implies that valem is at least one tier higher than Vapor

there being multiple ("higher tiers" being said in plural) implies there's at least two tiers higher than Vapor's.
if we went for the conventional "Low, Mid and High" tiers, Vapor could be placed a low tier demon, which would be consistent with him and Rosemary being refered as "human filth". This would leave Valem as a "Mid Tier, possibly High Tier" Demon

The slowest and fastest monsters fit in subsonic. This would be a much more consistent scaling than the previous where monsters varied a lot in speed levels despite them all being able to interact in chases

I'm not sure if all demons should have the same powers, since there are different "tiers" of demons. That they share immortality is probably justified since they have been shown to survive similar things (dismemberment), and they are all undead who apparently live forever.

By the way, I have this sandbox for Niloticus.

If you have time, do you think you could make a list calculating the speed of the rest of the monsters based on that? I think you've done that before; that would help give everyone a more accurate level.

dang I usually do it as

(Speed/monster speed stat)*other monster speed stat

Also did this stat thing with baldi and somehow got him to supersonic
74 speed stat moment

also I'll do the blog on monster speed

The "Who would win" Tierlists by blade that you Sent earlier Kinda Suggests that Inkfell and Valem are like in the Same Level in Rank/Tier

As they're always in the Same Tier in every Tierlist, And In "Vs Inkfell" Valem is placed in the "Could Win/Lose" and When it was "Vs Valem" Inkfell is in the "Could Win/Lose" also

Speaking of which, I think the AP justifications for monsters should simply be "(All monsters can fight Niloticus)" and in cases where it is directly stated that they can defeat him, add "and [such monster] can even defeat him."

Although I think it wouldn't hurt to keep the issue of MX's tackles just to reinforce the level.

Since the Monsters can Fight eachother, I was wondering if we could scale some monsters to some other monster's LS too?
