"Well, don't think that's goig to work," she muttered under her breath as she took her mask and looked around for anything that could be of interest, scanning around the room.
There are several expensive and very fine bottles of alcohol by the bar, a staircase downstairs, and the man is wearing a very nice looking necklace with several gems on it.
Well that wasn't important. She certainly wasn't a thief. ...god she really hoped she had to be here. She sighed and moved towards the door to the bedroom and opened it up. Quietly, of course. She didn't want to wake the man.
The bottom floor is empty of people. There are several fancy looking tables spread out, though most other stuff seems to be put away for the night. There's a staircase to a room above and a door to a kitchen in the back.
It's been a couple of weeks. Gym makes it easier to keep them off, and Shoot to Thrill always gets pissy from the smoke (how could a Stand give a shit about the air it breathed?), but every once in a while he needed some puff.
He put it in his mouth, only to realize he didn't have a lighter. Thinking quick, he remembered he technically had never turned off Shoot to Thrill's Hell's Bells mode, and had the humanoid light for him. The murderous glare it somehow exuded despite having no eyes was ignored.
Stephanie quickly moved out of the room and onto the balcony and then leaned down to the ground floor. She winced slightly as she landed. "Well, that wasn't fun..."
She was thinking about the kill list from earlier... was her name on there too? What about her family? She probably should have asked earlier but she'd ask Nicholas to see it later.
"Fair enough," Michael said as he dropped the pack to the ground before a giant green metallic hand pulverized it into nothing. "That would probably have been me if I had held on to it any longer. Can't say it's not annoying as shit but at least it keeps my bad habits away."
"So, what's this lead that you found, exactly? Because all I found was a man sleeping in a chair. It was a terrible idea to come here..." She spoke as she walked through the door, arms crossed.
"It's a file listing information on the assassination targets of the organization. We are, of course, included, they possess detailed information about all of us, however, the interesting thing was a man living in Chicago that was marked as too dangerous to kill."
"Oooo, sounds neat. I wonder what they got on me." She began to skim through the files, her mask appearing once more and reading the information in less than a fraction of a second. "I'm assuming our target is the man too dangerous to kill?"
"Precisely. We don't know much, but if we find him, he might be willing to give us some insight on the organization, as it is likely that he has fought against them before."
