Paradise City Part 5

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

"Oh well. I guess there's no other option." Nicholas summons his Stand, he appears behind the man seemingly instantly and knocks him out with his Stand, he then heads over to the basement door.

 

[Torlikoff]

The man is out like a light. The basement door is locked.

 

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

Nicholas has his Stand break open handle and opens the door.

 

[Torlikoff]

The door leads to a staircase, the basement is dark.

 

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

Nicholas walks down the staircase, meanwhile Don't Stop Me Now uses its high precision to look around in the dark for a light switch.

Joe is behind Nicholas, literally.

 

[Torlikoff]

Nicholas notices the light switch is at the top of the stairs.

Nicholas goes back up and turns on the lights, then heads down and looks at the room

Michael discards the can with a bit more force than necessary.

Well, that was real ******* helpful.

He stands thinking for a few minutes before a spark goes off in his mind. He deactivates Hell and High Water, but focuses only on one half of Shoot to Thrill's body. Amazingly, the half allowing him to breathe was still active.

So he could have one mode active on just on one part of his Stand's body. With that, he focused on Hell's Bells mode, watching the other side ignite a fiery fist to illuminate the area. Shoot to Thrill, for it's part, seemed fascinated and not mildly peeved for once.

 

[Torlikoff]

The area is still mostly empty, but a few more pieces of trash are visible.

Nicholas goes back up and turns on the lights, then heads down and looks at the room

There's another door, labeled "Special Storage"

Joe follows Nicholas

 

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

Nicholas breaks open the handle similar to the previous door and opens it, he then looks around the room with his Stand.

 

[Torlikoff]

It's a rather large room, dozens of boxes, shelves, a large tank of gas, and what appears to be a bomb under a tarp are visible in the lit room.

"Woah, what the hell are you doing down here?" A voice yells from the back.

 

[Crabwhale]

The area is still mostly empty, but a few more pieces of trash are visible.

Michael moves further on the lake bed, looking for anything, anything that sticks out further than the junk.

 

[Torlikoff]

There appears to be a small chest off in the distance.

 

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

Nicholas moves very quickly towards the source of the voice, his Stand still summoned, he then asks. "Who are you? We're here for a reason."

 

[Torlikoff]

A raggedy looking man walks out behind some boxes. He's wearing what appears to be a trenchcoat combines with some mismatches jeans.

"No no no, you explain first. Why did you break into here?"

 

[Junkoposter]

Mame shrugs.

 

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

"Why? Because your organization is trying to kill us, that's why. I would advise you answer my questions unless you want to be severely injured. The trail of information lead us to here."

 

[Crabwhale]

There appears to be a small chest off in the distance.

Michael swims over to the chest and has Shoot to Thrill pick it up.

He then begins ascending at an accelerated rate, eventually breaching the surface and flying several dozens of meters into the air, landing in front of his friends, dampening the impact with his Stand.

"I gotz the loot," he says, as the Stand dumps the chest on the ground. "If this ain't it, I dunno what it could be."

 

[Torlikoff]

"Why? Because your organization is trying to kill us, that's why. I would advise you answer my questions unless you want to be severely injured. The trail of information lead us to here."

The man pulls a gun out of his pocket, shooting at Nicholas.

 

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

"What a joke." Nicholas comments as his Stand casually catches the bullet mid flight.

 

[Torlikoff]

"Huh. Worth a shot." The man says

 

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

"So, what now? You still have a chance to tell us what you know."

 

[Torlikoff]

"I would like to not do that."

 

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

"Well, that's not exactly an option. We've dealt with enough nonsense already. Answer us and we won't hurt you."

 

[Torlikoff]

"...Fine. My name is Stu."

 

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

"So you're the guy we read about on that note. What do you know about the people you're working for?"

 

[Torlikoff]

"I know I work for them."

 

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

"What do you do for them? Who gives you orders? And what's stored in this place anyways?"

"Do you know what it feels like to have all your ribs fractured ?"

 

[Torlikoff]

"I store shit, random guys, random shit. And yes, I do."

 

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

"Well, we know for a fact that there's more to it than that, we found a note that said all the "important" shit had been moved here, so talk, what was moved here from Sears Tower?"

 

[Torlikoff]

"All the items those assholes made me store. The stuff in the Sears Tower still needs to be moved."

 

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

"Show us the items they made you store."

 

[Torlikoff]

"You can see all of them here jackass, the entire room is just these items."

 

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

Nicholas has his Stand look around the room, seeing if it can spot anything noteworthy.

"Do you know anything about the plastic Stand that's in Sears Tower?"

 

[Torlikoff]

Almost everything is in a box neatly stacked or covered by a tarp.

"That would be mine."

 

[The_Divine_Phoenix]

Nicholas has his Stand uncover the tarps on the boxes and look inside as many as it can.

"So, what exactly is so sensitive up there that you were made to have it guard that place?"
