It looks more like an energy manipulation feat to me. His tail touches the ground to trigger it, but I don't see anything showing that he is using literal suction from tail his tail to physically drag the energy up.

The LS comes from the displacement of the mantle caused by his tail, not him pulling up the energy.

I don’t think suction was used here… but.. if you look at layers on both panels, you see little curves in the first panel and the energy breaking through those curves in the second. That should signify suction.

How exactly was the mantle displaced by his tail? The tail did not extend all the way down to the core, did it? I don't see a sign of that.

Here is the displacement the tail caused.
Orochi said that he would pull the energy directly from the Earth, and we see him drive his tall down. What else would that be? Orochi just dipping his tail in the magma pool for the fun of it?

Make a proper CRT to remove it. The point of this thread isn't really an upgrade. It's to restore a rating that was removed because of a thread that only had 3 people speak in it.

I see where both sides of the argument are coming from. Honestly, I also must disagree though. Looking at the scans it being a case of environmental destruction by manipulating the energy seems more reasonable than him using his tail to physically distort the mantle with raw strength since unlike the latter argument, the first one directly corelates to his statement of pulling up the energy.
