Mihawk can:
-Outskill and hit harder than all known swordsmen, casually delivering "world's strongest" slashes large enough to tear apart icebergs, with one handed swings(imo he beats Shanks because 2 handed slashes > one handed slashes)
-Keep up with Shanks in speed
-outlift Zoro
-Get through the marineford war unscathed and unaffected
-Create Black Blades
-Use Haki better than Return to Sabaody Zoro's
-Throw an opponent off-balance by devastating the landscape
-Do every feat he's ever done without going all out, except maybe the latter part of Marineford.

Mihawk might be able to:
-Use top-tier Haki
-Use a special type of skill we haven't seen yet


Shanks can:
-Oneshot Kid while cutting through his attack, despite Killer jumping in between them and getting oneshotted as well.
-Use the best of every Haki ever shown in the series
-Completely negate a punch from Akainu
-Clash with Oldbeard on his home turf
-Set his sword on fire somehow

Shanks might be able to:
-Use even better Haki
-Use some other kind of power

I'm trying to think of some stories I can write based on One Piece characters. I think the first one is maybe gonna be: Zoro and Perona's boat gets attacked on the way to Sabaody, Perona gets taken prisoner, and Zoro washes up onshore and gets taken in by some child, and the kid and his mom nurse him back to health. The main villain is gonna be the dictator of this island, he's looking for a wife, so he kidnapped Perona, and then his tries to force the kid's mother to go up to the castle, because she was a childhood friend of the dictator, but then Zoro kills the guards, fights the dictator's gaurds, henchmen, and an elite warrior mercenary that took him down before by advancing his Observation Haki, then beats up the dictator and frees the prisoners.

All of this would take place over the course of 3 days, and introduce maybe 2 devil fruits.

Shanks feat wise I think gets everything above mihawk, besides better swordsmanship and supposedly stronger in strength and possibly better range attack via flying slashes

While supreme grades are the highest grade, that doesn't mean a supreme grade can't improve via becoming a black blade, just means they stay the same rank since they already are at the highest rank. Besides the ranking system is assigned to a weapon by the people, it's not like a universal law/level system that the blades themselves abide to.

Honestly I am really liking what I am seeing, makes my excitement for the live action grow even more. I honestly am trying to keep my expectations modest, but with all this quality stuff we've been getting...I can't help but believe this will be the one, the live action adaptation that's genuinely good.
