One Piece General Discussion: Elbaph

So whoever was doubting those two were swordsmen, you were wrong.

There were some passion in that

So apparently SBS of Vol 101 confirms that Ushimaru is not Zoro's father, and that Oda cut out a planned scene where Onimaru (the shape-changing fox) shows surprise upon seeing Zoro for the first time (because he looks like a younger Ushimaru)

Some interesting developments regarding Zoro's past

Because Shanks fanboys can't accept the truth, and most Mihawk fanboys suck at debating and relaying said truth. In short, thank goodness for Eminiteable 🔥
I think it's mainly because of Marineford. Shanks hype goes through the roof because of how he ends the war by simply turning up and declaring "it is over". Mihawk has not done anything comparable yet

While that is undoubtedly a very cool moment, and I wouldn't fault anyone for going as far as saying it's the coolest moment in the series, I think power scalers really blow its implications out of proportion. There's a reason why Shanks was able to "end the war" simply by saying so. The Marines had suffered massive casualties, and had all but lost the will to fight (minus Akainu, obviously). Their goal for engaging in the War to begin with (which was defeating WhiteBeard), had also been accomplished at that point. Blackbeard also wasn't going to take the risk of fighting the Marines, the Admirals, the remnants of WB's crew, AND Shanks' crew at the same time with his fledgling crew; he simply wasn't ready for that kind of heat yet.
So yeah, Shanks "ended the war by showing up", but there's a lot of nuance and context behind it. It isn't as simple as, "Oh, Shanks is stronger than all of the groups that were present at Marineford".

Saying he isn't Zoro's dad but then saying "But they do look quite alike" is the biggest 'wink wink' energy I've ever seen.
Ushi looks in his late 50's /60's in the cave, so assuming he had a son who travelled out with Kozarboro illegaly- Zoro could be Ushimaru's grandson??

Yeah, it was mostly people losing their motivation to fight. Ace and Whitebeard were dead, and Blackbeard had gotten his powerup. The fight was continuing mainly because of Akainu's bloodlust

Grandson is a possibility, or Zoro could be a nephew, but I still think that the cutting out of the planned Onimaru reaction says something. My theory (and I could be very wrong) is that Zoro was planned to be a Shimotsuki descendant, but that plan was later changed (maybe because it is too similar to Sanji?)

Ok.... Bro. I have so many images to transparent/render.... I'm barely 10% done in the one piece verse and that took some weeks.. 😤 I guess it because I'm making the important characters so it takes awhile... But ah hell nah am I being that precise with the other non so important characters

Luffy's striking strength, not spoiled by his rubber abilities

It's not just a matter of time, but it's also a matter of how much you're willing to pay.
He has a firm grasp of his vulnerability to slashes and the risk of having his outstretched arm cut off, based on his many experiences in actual combat. Luffy, who experienced being ridden by an unprotected outstretched arm in a fight with Kuro, who boasts of high speed, during the Summit War
Luffy successfully avoided the danger of having his arm cut off by Mihawk.
Feel like that should be enough proof..

Inept Observation and Conqueror's Haki user,

Inept observation haki should get removed if that's the only feat supporting it.

ONE-PIECE-magazine-Vol-10-p049-ONE-PIECE-a-Kraa.jpg

Bounceman, with enhanced power from his rubber gun and bazooka. Snakeman, a speedy version of Gear 2's JET system. Tankman, which has a stronger guard system such as balloons. Multiple forms with specialized abilities can be activated according to the enemy's abilities and situation to maximize their power.
"Gear 4," draws out the supremacy of the armed colors to the limit, combining armed hardening with the elasticity of rubber. He overwhelms his enemies with his unprecedented body, which is flexible despite its armed color and hard despite its rubber.

Don Quixote Do
Doflamingo's view on how to fight a superior fighter.

He has used his Itoito Fruit ability to the utmost limit, and boasts a remarkably diverse repertoire of "superhuman" abilities, including attacks that increase the cutting power of the thread, moving in the air by hanging the thread on clouds, manipulating others with the thread, and creating altered bodies. He has also "awakened" his abilities, and analyzes the reason for Luffy's victory over the near-perfected abilities.

When he gets too hot, he has a tendency to resort to big moves.
Luffy is a master of both guards and combos, but when his friends are hurt, he gets angry. In order to hurry up and settle the score, he tends to rely on techniques such as ash bears and elephants. In my opinion, these techniques are overpowered unless you are dealing with giants or huge beasts of prey. In fact, it's difficult to use because of the long pause and the loss of visibility due to the enlarged hands.

He uses his toughness to his advantage and attacks without thinking twice.
Luffy has been considered dangerous by many of his enemies because of the way he fights, even risking his own life for the sake of his friends.
Luffy's unbreakable heart and bottomless stamina make him stand up again and again, and his enemies are distracted by his pace. Lucci, a professional fighter, misjudged the damage to himself, and Doflamingo, who was supposed to dominate the enemy's pace, was dragged into a fierce fight.

The Monkey King 👀

Luffy is a light-weight fighter who is good at twisting and turning his body in a series of attacks. If the enemy shows an opening with an acrobatic attack, he will move away and connect with a powerful move.
The centrifugal force generated by Luffy's spinning attacks and the rubber are also very good together, and the power of his strikes keeps increasing.
Should be quite helpful 🐵

"Cyborg Animal.

The young one. ...the feat that Vegapunk accomplished at that time...

the results

Whenever a new technology is introduced to the Navy or the World Government, the name that always comes up is "Dr. Vegapunk".
Vegapunk is the leader of the Navy's science team, and is said to be the man with the greatest brain in the world. He is from Baljemore, a future country on the Great Passage. When Frankie visited Baldimore, some of the laboratories that Vegapunk once used were still there.
The labs in Balzimore are the place where Vegapunk spent his boyhood memories, but the blueprints left there are all advanced technological inventions that are ~3 years ahead of their time, and it is hard to believe that a boy thought of them. In the laboratory where Frankie accidentally blew himself up, there were "cultural inventions" and an entrance to the laboratory.

The other lab, whose entrance was hidden, contained "weapons inventions" such as modified animals, battleships, and human cell research. The fact that he has left behind such a vast amount of research results since he was a boy is truly genius. It is no wonder that his brain is called "the property of mankind.
As new Pacifistas are appearing, it seems that Vegapunk is still continuing his research for the world government and the navy, but he has not been exposed and his true face is unknown. His genius mind is valuable to the government, so he seems to be treated as a VIP, with a personal guard. Where is he now, and what is he thinking? We will have to keep an eye on his movements in the future.

The discovery of a biological "bloodline factor"...!

RE:ONEPIECEONEPIECEmagazineVol.10_074

Vegapunk once did research with Sanji's father, Judge. The feat he accomplished at that time was the "discovery of the bloodline factor". The research team was bought out by the world government, but Judge continued his research and was able to develop a replicant army that could artificially mass produce superior soldiers.

The Pacifistas, along with the Sizzlers, have achieved great success in the Summit War and other wars, but this is Vegapunk's invention based on the body of Bartholomew Bear. Unlike the original bear, it can shoot lasers, which is an ability of Yellow Monkey's Pika Pika Fruit. Also, the armaments that Franky has two years later are also based on Vegapunk's technology. Huh.

Here's the thing.

If they read you, they'll make their move.

You're just an idiot who gets bored and does nothing. As a result you have

The ability to take stress and work on its immediate resolution

In a battle with an unimaginable ability, Luffy never analyzes his ability in a logical manner. It's not just that he's trying to get rid of the obstacle in front of him, he's even inhaled Caesar's poison gas just to restore his vision. The situation may worsen, but he basically overcomes it with his natural toughness.
"What should I do if they can read my movements?" →He continues to carry out his simple but extraordinary thought: "I should be able to see a little bit into the future myself.

How to fight with unknown abilities

He is a special kind of superhuman, the mochimochi-no-mi, who confused Luffy by not being able to hit him even when he used his fighting spirit. He is a fierce fighter who is far superior to Luffy in both observation and armed colors. His abilities, strength, and speed are all of a high standard, and he is a Katakuri without even a hint of pride. This was not an opponent that could be defeated with spirit or guts, but...

The "enemy" is
vs.

I'm no match for you.

|I can't fight him.

Luffy!
A battle that has abandoned all other concerns except defeating the enemy.
Luffy, who is determined to win, has many options when he is in a pinch. He runs away and even takes hostages.
Luffy is a pirate, not someone who wants to be a hero. As Luffy says, "There is no such thing as cowardice in a pirate's game," and he is prepared to take on an unknown ability.

Quick judgment of the situation by the instinct of a wild child
Luffy, who has excellent instincts in battle, is especially quick in deploying personnel and responding to unforeseen circumstances.
Luffy seems to know who he's going to have to fight from the start," Chopper said, but as he did when he decided to go toe-to-toe with Katakuri.
I don't know. I have a lot of faith in his judgment.

It is often thought that rubber has lost its resistance to blows due to the advent of the armed color Haki.
However, this is not the case. By fusing the power of armor color and rubber, he can make the armor color elastic, which is normally hardened and not lost.
Luffy's armored color has become elastic. If the armored color is superior to Luffy's, the rubber will repel it as before. He was defeated by the color of the armor.
Luffy's body would have been destroyed if he were a normal person, but he was only slightly injured because of the rubber's ability.

Improve the performance of the guard with a small amount of work

more and more

Luffy has a strong image of always wiping out his enemies with flashy techniques, but he doesn't fight that way all the time. He skillfully guards against enemy attacks and is able to fight well enough in infighting without extending his arms. Although his attack power is lower than that of the Gomu Gomu technique, it is an effective way to see through the enemy's movements and exploit any gaps.

How to Fight Rob Lucci's Speed Type

Atri

Second

Luffy is also very mobile, but he is not as fast as Luch, who is a Type 6 user and an ﹑animal type. He was just barely able to keep up with his speed while cutting down his life with Gear 2, but Luch's fighting skills surpassed Luffy's. What is Luffy's surprising strategy to defeat such a ruthless weapon of slaughter?

I'm not sure what to make of it.
This is the first time I've ever seen such a thing. I'm not sure if you've heard of it or not, but I'm sure you've heard of it
. At first glance, this may seem uncharacteristic of Luffy and is often overlooked, but it is an important technique that shows the potential of the Gomu Gomu no Mi and Luffy's battle sense.

Instinctively, he shaves off the enemy's speed.
In order to kill Lucci's speed, Luffy tried some unusual attacks, such as grabbing and throwing him, and throwing things to block his view. The grabbing and throwing was effective, but all of his attacks aimed at Lucci were evaded by the gun barrage with the crates he threw. "Shave" and "Storm Legs" also made him realize that it was dangerous to keep his distance, so he abandoned his rubber reach and used close combat more often.

*Luffy's mastery of shaving and the tracing of battle strategies
Luffy has mastered the aforementioned "shave" by just looking at it with absorption. The amount of experience he can gain at a time with his observant eyes is outstanding. It's also a great way to make sure you don't get caught in the middle of a fight.

I'm glad to know that there is such a technique.

Man I love timelines and history in general lol. Crazy to think (but it makes sense) that the current events of the story are taking place in the OP worlds equivalent of the 16th Century. And the oldest known event is roughly around ~3480 B.A.S.C. (Before Age of Sea Circle).

I didn't even know there was One Piece history earlier than 1000 years until like 3 days ago and it blew my mind.

I've been replaying World Seeker, and I remembered just how op the Villain's Analytical Prediction is.
It's stated by Tashigi to be on the level of Haki. Post-Dressrosa, possibly Post-Whole Cake Island Luffy is incapable of landing hits on Isaac even with Observation Haki, So Isaac's Analytical Prediction might be better than Post-Dressrosa, maybe Post-WCI Luffy's Observation Haki.

I have no Idea what you just said... Also observation haki has nothing to do with analytical Predictions, you either mean op predictions or op precognition

I'm not saying that Observation Haki has Analytical Prediction, sorry if it sounded like that. I meant that Isaac's Analytical Prediction is capable of countering Luffy's CoO (as in even with it, Luffy's unable to hit Isaac as he's able to predict Luffy's moves even though Luffy's using Observation in an attempt to counter Isaac's Analytical Prediction).

BRO!!! I don't know what you are saying... 😤

Ok my turn

Bro zoro is faster then Vega plunk because he kept blitzing him every time plus was seeing the future

Did you understand that? Because even I didn't understand 😅

Explain what you mean more.. I have only watched some of the gameplay on the characters

Damn, my bad if it sounds like nonsense.

The main villain of World Seeker is called Isaac and his analytical capabilities are so incredible that it's compared to Observation Haki's Precog, and in his fight with Luffy, Luffy is unable to land hits on him even with the help of Observation Haki until I think Luffy adapts to him or Isaac starts losing his cool.

Ah... Is there a YouTube video? 👁

Ahh... It's the guy that wanted to defeat the admirals or something? I knew it was 🐵

Isaac also has impressive strategical and tactical skills, capable of devising schemes to manipulate various factions for his own purposes. According to Rob Lucci, this was an even more impressive ability than Kenbunshoku Haki.
You sure it's analytical prediction?
