One Piece Chapter 1136 Spoilers

The long sleeves, the goggles, the bandages, the heterochromia... this is a very cool design.

I love how Loki, mid-conversation, saw his buddy show up and just went "GET 'EM! BEAT THEIR ASSES, MAN! DO IT! DO IT! YEEEEAAAAAH! WOOH!"

Another great chapter! The romance dawn trio getting some focus was nostalgic. And would Oda give Zoro a fight already? That man has been more bloodthirsty than usual all arc so far, lol.

If Loki is supposed to be a negative Nika, like Luffy gets stronger the more he laughs, then what if Loki gets stronger the angrier he gets?

I've been seeing some people act as if Nika being a god of liberation and God of destruction as being two polarizing things, but honestly, I think it's one in the same, it's just that some peeps see destruction in this negative and malicious connotation, when it doesn't always have to be "evil".

As seen with Luffy, he liberates people and countries by destroying the oppressing force that rules over them, which gives the people the ability to actually choose their future for themselves. So basically, he liberates the oppressed by destroying the oppressors, a god of liberation through destruction.

Honestly, reminds me a lot of Mehrunes Dagon from the Elder Scrolls for all my Elder Scrolls fans out there, but of course sillier and wackier.

Of course, a lot of you probably already came to this conclusion, but I have seen some peeps in other sites that thought otherwise.

Now of course, there could be a fruit for both interpretations of Nika, Liberation and Destruction, but I think Nika's complete identity is a God of Liberation through Destruction.

Probably, but I can also see it being that rather than being joyous laughter like with Luffy, it would be a more malignant laughter.

And yeah Zoro is super killy this arc, maybe the power of Nusjuro he felt when they clashed and then not being able to actually fight afterwards basically gave him blue balls in terms of fighting and he REALLY wants to fight someone strong to scratch that itch.

Didn't read, I agree that he wants Loki to scratch his balls.

You make some good points as usual.

And according to the chapter, the reason there are so many interpretations of who Nika is according to the Giants is due to the fact that no one has been able to translate the Halley text. Luckily for them there's a genius archaeologist among the Straw Hats who'll most likely translate it and clear things up for them (once her reunion with Saul and she finishes looking over the Ohara books finishes up lol).

And as this arc continues, I keep noticing a lot of parallels between Zoro and Loki.

-The way Luffy meets them
-Their first offer to Luffy if he frees them
-Zoro's the King Of Hell and Loki is currently in the Underworld
-Both were misjudged by others but judged correctly by Luffy
-Zoro has a deep connection with Mihawk, Loki has a deep connection with Shanks
-Zoro refused joining the team of the two who asked him to join, Loki refused to join the team of the two who asked him to join
-Both are kindhearted but don't like to show it openly

I can't wait for them to finally interact!

I'm thinking Loki might be an ally ngl. I hope Usopp convinces him to help at some point.

I don't know if it is intentional but increasingly I see parallels to Hindu mythology in the Nika legend. For example, Lord Shiva, the destroyer God in Hindu tradition is characterized by His laid-back attitude and innocence, while Vishnu the Preserver of cosmic order appears on Earth to destroy evil whenever it becomes dominant
