In all seriousness, pretty sure work and more are canonically slowly being overwhelmed by chaos. Even if they're individually Superior to a high 1-B CG, they can't permanently affect the 1-A greater concept. Nurgle wins via attrition.

High 1-B chaos Gods are the manifestations of CGs as actual beings, still being inextricably tied to the1-A form via immortslity.
The thing about them being canonically stronger is written from the perspective of Ork mythology. Considering later sources describe them having trouble with daemons and not the CGs themselves and the Ork God's have no other feats on such a high level, CGs being superior overall makes more sense.
