Given that the wiki is attacked by trolls or vandals every now and then, I think that it might be useful for all administrators (and bureaucrats) to install a mass-blocking script that was recommended to me by Promestein.

Just be very careful when you use it, so you do not block a wrong username by accident. Thank you.

sorry, I'm not a staff but I had this issue before, and might be related to this script

I was blocked by certain script that affected me across the FANDOM community, I have contacted the FANDOM admin and had the ban lifted for my account (the staff said that I may have been affected by a block that was too effective - affecting people it wasn't supposed to affect - which was removed once that was realised)

later when I turned on VPN service (Singapore IP address location) it blocked me again, and fortunately the ban is not there if I'm turning off my VPN or change my location to other than Singapore, and refresh the page,

and then I concluded that the script targeted the specific IP address (Singapore) which I already gave to the FANDOM staff to investigate as it may cause a similar case in the future, as the IP address is likely being used by many people.

The message: The block was made by 30093946.

Reason given: "This username or IP address is prevented from editing across the entire FANDOM network due to vandalism or other disruption.
If you believe this is in error, please contact FANDOM.
The blocker also gave this additional reason: spam.

We cannot assign blocks across the entire Fandom network, just the wikis where we are administrators, so the problem is not related to this script.

The Fandom staff likely assigned a range IP block to some vandal who used the same VPN as you do.

So would this be handy for other wikis as well? I am asking this since I am the content mod of the Death Battle wiki and we keep getting trolls and vandals on that wiki as well and it's been pretty bad.

Yes, you can follow the instructions in the linked page to automatically install the script globally in all wikis where you and others have administrator authorities. You can also contact the Fandom staff to get the same type of protection that we have against vandals.
