Not a VS Debate, but a question.

I'd say no, simply due to Mercer's feats of resisting many biological attacks designed to destroy Blacklight before. I mean, Mercer has developed immunity to chemicals and pathogens (such as Bloodtox and the Parasite, which later turned into the Supreme Hunter) in Prototype 1 designed to destroy him, along with being able to infect a cure (Whitelight) that is specifically designed to destroy Blacklight (as Blacklight can rebuild itself and infect at the cellular level, Whitelight would have to simarlarly operate at such levels in order to destroy it and cure those infected by Blacklight as it was designed to).

Plus, Mercer's resistance to Biological Manipulation (and Immunity to all ailments known to man, giving Mercer immunity to illnesses as ailments are illnesses by definition) would allow him to resist Purple Haze's infection, if not outright adapt to it, anyways due to the aforementioned feats of Mercer dealing with pathogens and chemicals specifically designed to destroy him.

Unless Fugo's PHF has Resistance Negation and has explicit evidence of destroying the infected target greater than the cellular level (like destroying the target at the molecular or atomic level), he's not going to be able to destroy Mercer.

i dought it since mercers reactive evolution is preaty great since he evolved to fight back the parasite that was suppossed to kill him on the spot
