It does. This works similar to how souls are generally accepted to exist unless stated otherwise in a verse in matches involving Soul Manipulation. The only way Nero wouldn't have a heart by Kingdom Hearts standards is if she had no emotions and didn't exist and even those things usually grow a heart with time. I still remember the discussion about that in a CRT along with its more frustrating aspects that happened in that regard and I do not feel like repeating that here, so please don't even try unless you really want to inform yourself and get into the debate.
