Bloodlust is a palpable thing jn Nard and not just something that exists in your mind. For stronger people it can drive people around them mad or physically affect their surroundings.

They don’t need to mind read when Intent is practically an aura

I am not sure that is what he is saying.

Anyway rereading it I think there might be a difference between actions and murderous intent. I think murderous intent is anything violent, while actions is anything at all. That might be the distinction. And it appears to be what is being communicated by Amado here paired with the numerous showings of his reflection without touch I think it works.

Whew…. The same guy who was shocked that Kawaki was reckless enough to attempt murder? The same guy who didn’t even notice when Code used his claw marks? Yeah, sounds like pure headcanon.

Actions and Intent are not the same thing

I don’t think we’re on the same page bc none of that has to do with what I said.

Bloodlust/Anger in Naruto isn’t just a mental desire to kill, it’s emitted from the person with it like an aura.

We see this with Zabuza, Kakashi, Orochimaru, Itachi, Hashirama, and even Kurama.

Powerful enough bloodlust from powerful enough people can even affect people and their surroundings.

This is because of the mental/spiritual aspect of Chakra creating an esoteric effect reflecting the state of mind of a person

It’s also why things like the whole saying of “High level Shinobi’s can know each others thought with only combat” exist, or the mental realm Naruto and Sauce always meet in during their fights, Kurama being able to inject his hatred into his chakra, etc.

Novels make it even more blatant.

Daemon doesn’t need to be able to read minds, his ability just needs to be able to pick up the intent emitted off of people that are having those thoughts.

Then I guess we agree on the same thing then. I was tackling Arc’s comment below

My argument was that daemons cant read minds to pick up the intents of people and in every case that we have seen the intent reflection being displayed he is not even aware of it himself, so you can't also say he is picking up their aura.
 
Honestly the more I think about it the less the entire touch thing makes sense considering every time we have seen it he has not been touching someone. And all we really have to go off of is Bug of all people. Amado's gives the idea of two different but similar abilities almost like Boruto's FTG vs Minato's. It is going to be so funny if it is revealed that every one basically has ultra instinct because they can fight without intent.

He is going to reflect things without touching again and then people would still say the same thing lol. Like let's be honest the scans I put above as well as the one with Code should clear this up that he definitely has a passive non touch based version.

Looking back at some of my arguments from 2022, I can’t help but cringe a little. Honestly, I’m sure when I reach the age of Unc Antvasima and I look back again, I’ll cringe even more. Nevertheless, I live in the moment. Then when we turn 40 we can reminisce on how we spent our teens and 20s arguing for higher ratings for our favourite fictional characters. Meaningless yet interesting.

scaling makes your brain put in the work it would otherwise not that might help with irl things
I'd take a scaler child anyday over fujoshis and himejoshis
