Since Wound Destruction can be activated pre-emptively, I think he could use his enhanced chakra reserves to activate paralyzed cells and recreate dead ones, as long as the Curse Mark doesn't somehow instantly kill him.

You gotta view the LoW as its own special bubble tbh. Kishi had no clue the manga would continue at that point, and likely hadn't figured out much of the verse's greater lore and what have you. The series was very much in its infancy still. So my philosophy with it is to take what works and leave out what doesn't. The 'Sasuke >>> 1/10 Zabuza' thing is a prime example of something that doesn't work lol. There's also this. That takes a lot of chakra, the healing I mean. Add to that the CM sapping a lot of chakra as well, and it's just not a great combo. And Kabuto's usefulness to Orochimaru was his intelligence, skill, and special abilities, all of which made him an extremely valuable spy. There was no real reason for Orochimaru to jeopardize one of his aces for something like that.

i think id prob give himawari a larger chance than sarada, but for the most part i think excluding kawaki and boruto, most of the top 5 will prob either be characters that havent been introduced yet or characters that will have better scaling to the point the current top 5 minus shibai prob isnt relevant anymore.
