Someone please tell me Minato did not literally die just so Naruto could see Kushina once. The two of them couldn't seal Kurama back inside Kushina, right?

And Sakumo died because he really just needed a hug.
Come to think of it, kinda interesting how:

-Kakashi was a prodigy genius with a variant skillset who later excelled because of the gifts his friends left him, and Guy was a dumb idiot with a tiny penis(presumably suggesting Adult Kakashi is packing), but worked so hard that he excelled at one kind of thing, then learned to support it with some other stuff(his first jutsu we saw was a Summoning btw)

-Kakashi's father was seen as the perfect shinobi, but was then reduced to dirt(no one helped that ************, Will of Fire my ass), and died because he fell from grace, while Guy's father was seen as pathetic, but, in his last blaze of glory, surpassed almost any Shinobi in the world, and died because he rose to grace.

-Kakashi's growth was represented when the weapon that presumably caused his father's death, the White Light Chakra Sabre, broke, yet Guy used the instrument of his own father's death, the 8 Gates, as his trump card in nearly all of his major fights.

-Kakashi, a loner, drew his greatest level of power from a friend, and Guy, a real friendly dude, drew his greatest level of power from himself.

-Both had techniques that could easily spell their death if used incorrectly(Gates/Chidori) and passed it on to students that passed it on to their children(presumably Metal Lee has the 1st Gate in the manga too).

-Kakashi was surpassed by all of his students multiple times, and Guy was surpassed by none of his(screentime lmao).

-Guy can't remember faces, which is very funny but also very sad, and Kakashi covers his face all the time, and it would be very distracting if he didn't(I saw a post suggesting Guy might actually have face blindness or whatever and remembers Kakashi because of the mask and the hair.)

-Their hair is different colors, which reminds me of the classic "yin-yang," or, if you're not a nerd, "Reshiram-Zekrom" dynamic, but interestingly enough, it's inverted if you look at it that way. Guy is bright and exuberant, and burns like the sun, while Kakashi is a little gloomier, quieter, and reflects like the moon.

But eh, what do I know?

They could, but Kushina was for sure going to die. So they couldn't risk Kurama respawning somewhere else in the future. He'd wreak havoc, be a major pain in the ass to recapture, and seriously mess with the balance of power between villages.

So, um… we all in agreement that Planetary Rasengan is a >6x AP Boost?
  1. Directly stated to be an enhanced version of Rasengan Barrage in Databook.
  2. Depiction shows the attack creating 3 sets of Inverse Rotations (Odama Rasengan = Large Counter-Clockwise Rotation | Regular Rasengan’s = Smaller Clockwise Rotations) — The configuration is set up to direct all energy/force towards the center (Three clockwise rotations in a triangular format directs towards the center of any system).
  3. “The Last” (Canon Portrayal) Depicts the resulting explosion’s (Plural) also fusing into one Blast — Meaning the energy generated per Set ultimately fuses unto one attack as well, further supporting this interpretation.
I've actually never thought of this

So......what's up with Kakashi's mom? Is she ever mentioned? She must have died when he was very young or else he would have trauma regarding that too cuz she was obviously not in his life.

Also, has Kakashi ever had a canon romantic interest?

I feel like this was brought up at one point and rejected.

Yup. I stated that I don't agree with your opinion from the start. I never claimed otherwise. I comprehended everything just fine. You give opinion. I give opinion about your opinion. I even said you're entitled to your opinion. I don't see the problem.
I was not talking about disagreements when I bring up the start, you took it hyper literally and started over analyzing it and then used what I said with slayer to say "that doesnt give off hyperbolic vibes" the logic isnt sound

"its not deep"
continues to overanalyse to prove why im wrong
😭😭

Wasn't it just your standard chest stab? Minato came back from that before, I'm sure someone with Uzumaki life force + 9-Tails regen could do it.

No, it's not the stab. Kushina was marked for death the moment Kurama was extracted from her. A Jinchuriki having their Bijū extracted is certain death no matter what. It's like a hard rule. She only lingered on for so long due to her Uzumaki blood, but she was going to die eventually.

You're still at this? Bruh. What did I even over analyse lmao.

Can you quote me something that I overanalyzed? From what I remember, you're the one who started to whine about people not glazing Naruto with you and acting like anybody was stopping you from stating your opinion. What am I trying to prove you wrong about? Just quote me something I said to you that would qualify as over analysing.

One would assume that if you put the Bijuu back in, they can live. Didn't that happen to Naruto?

Naruto might've been an exception cause he still had some of the other Bijū's chakra. Or maybe it's a retcon or a slight oversight on Kishimoto's part.
But at the time he was writing the Kushina stuff at least, the assumption was that she was going to die even if Kurama was resealed inside her.

It is also possible that Minato and Kushina simply didn't know that if Kurama was returned to her, she might survive. It's not like that sort of thing happened before, so maybe they were acting under false pretenses or incomplete information.

its heavily implied that minato and co just didnt know + the time between naruto's extraction and bijuu coming back being shorter+constant efforts to keep him alive. vs kushina who was just dropped off at home lol.

Kurama is the one who has to tell minato about that saving naruto.

Naruto needed more effort to keep him alive because he was literally dead.

But the lack of knowledge is a pretty solid explanation.

Would Naruto having Full Kurama actually **** him up btw?

To be fair, if Tobirama was on the verge of winning, I was gonna have Minato pull out the Reaper Death Seal, then have them get released by one of the Uzumaki later on.

Honestly, I gotta keep making stories, it's great.
Minato don't need RDS or SM to slap Tobirama but ite
What is Kakashi scaling to Particular from Pain?
  • All his Jutsu were dispelled by ST by Deva
  • Speed? Deva easily reacted to everything he did and he was outsped by Asura
Kakashi reacted to Pain multiple times
  • Asura Durability? Where does it scale from? Iirc, Jiraiya had no feats against Ashura and the only durability feat it has is surviving Choza’s punch.
Asura had enough strength to tear off SM Jiraiya's arm and durability scales to striking strength. It'd also be reasonable to assume that the Path that specializes most in physical combat would at least be physically comparable to the other Paths (especially since he's a combat specialist while the Human Path isn't) who can block and take attacks from SM Jiraiya.
  • Tanking ST? I mean… ST is Variable in Strength. Hard to pin down.
I don't think he would intentionally use a weak one against someone he considers a threat, and it's implied he could easily overpower Tsunade with ST (and as a side point, his raw chakra was seemingly strong enough that Tsunade thought she couldn't take him down, considering she hadn't seen anything else from him at this point and was just gonna let him get away)
Minato and his subordinates a few seconds later :

I think you mispelled the Bijuu
