I mean you can say what you want about whether you believe it was dumb or not.

That's a terrible comparison.
It turned out alright because Sasuke knew Boruto could help in the fight and knew he had the guts and will to do so. I'm not going to bring a 5 year old into a tiger pin if they can't do shit. Boruto could do shit, and did do shit.
Boruto was only able to do anything because Naruto and Sasuke were able to set him up to successfully do so.
You don't know more than Sasuke about what's at hand so you can't say "Sasuke was wrong to do so and so". Sasuke decided that Boruto was an asset to the fight, and brought him along, and was correct. It doesn't matter about what you may feel about the whole thing.

there's the problem. in most other VS debating platforms, speed is almost never equalized and Goku is unequivocally beyond anything Naruto can do in terms of speed. frankly I think Goku's speed is far more impressive than his AP anyway

iirc Kishimoto even said in an interview that Naruto became a Hokage from Genin because he thought it would be funny and very Naruto like or something like that
