Im already aware that Naruto has shapeshifting put onto his profile since he can transform into inanimate objects at will, but from what i've gathered i think we might be able to take it a step further.
Now everyone already knows Naruto can transform into stuff such as Shuriken, Kunai, Paper Bombs, etc., without needing to factor in becoming other characters as well. But what about things a decently big step higher, such as spiritual forces and energy?

When fighting all of the pains at once, Naruto was able to confuse them and transform himself into ACTUAL pure spiritual energy (chakra), in the form of his Rasenshuriken technique. Despite it not being a real actual Rasenshuriken, Naruto still had the properities, form, and overall complete characteristics of one. The fact he could even transform into something as complex as energy and still maintain his consciousness, let alone live, without any sort of issues is a remarkable transformation feat.
Everything inaminate Naruto has and could transform into may be justifed as just Shapeshifting, but as far as energy such as Chakra goes, shouldnt that be classified as a sort of Transmuation hax? Or resistance to it? If not that, then what? I would like an explanation for this if possible.
