Etem9n really has no defense for Venom Infuse and Adventure MetalEtemon doesn't use Love Serenade in character. Not only that, Venom is also waaaaaaay smarter here. Venom has my vote.

VenomMyotismon is powerful Mega, while the MetalEtemon is barely average. Venom easily defeats him without problems, as well as the base Myotismon would destroy the base Etemon.

I know this fight was made before the recent buffs, but even before then MetalEtemon fought well against Puppetmon, who scales to Piedmon somewhat, and Piedmon stomped WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon at the same time, while VenomMyostimon lost to the duo

Yes, Puppetmon and MetalEtemon were about as strong. Still, Piedmon is at least ten times stronger than Puppetmon or MetalEtemon. Both MetalEtemon and Puppetmon were injured in the battle against lover-lewel digimons (MegaKabuterimon and Zudomon), while VenomMyotismon beat all the lower-level digimons.

So I would say that VenomMyotismon would win them both at the same time, so he is much stronger. WarGreymon never had time to fight against MetalEtemon, but I'm pretty sure it would have ended as well as MetalGreymon and Etemon battle.

Keep in mind that Puppetmon never fought against WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon at the same time. He was easily destroyed by MetalGarurumon with just one attack. Unlike VenomMyotismon, he fought for a long time against these two and without Digivices he could have won. And MetalEtemon was about equal to Puppetmon. I think this proves that VenomMyotismon can beat Metal Etemon. He may not immediately destroy MetalEtemon, but he can win. Venom is insanely larger than MetalEtemon, and MetalEtemon can't even fly. MetalEtemon has only one powerful attack he used against SaberLeomon, but I can't believe it would be enough to defeat VenomMyotismon. In addition, SaberLeomon was a pretty weak Mega, he even lost to Ultimate / Perfect Digimon in Data Squad.

You may be right. However, I don't see VenomMyotismon losing to MetalEtemon, which was the issue. MetalEtemon never fought two Megas at the same time, and in any case Zudomon injured him. In my opinion, this indicates that he is even weaker less than average Mega Digimon. The only possibility is that MetalEtemon takes advantage of VenomMyotismon's stupidity and tries to deceive him. But MetalEtemon's small size is also a weakness in this battle. Because VenomMyotismon is so huge in size, I don't think MetalEtemon's Metal Punches will harm him.

And I think it's pretty clear that the Etemon line is much weaker than the Myotismon line. Regular Myotismon was much much stronger than regular Etemon. I don't see their Mega forms as exceptions. Etemons are much cooler, but at the same time weaker in strength. I like Etemon, yes, but the fact is that none of his forms were impressive for his level.

On the other hand, Puppetmon was clearly weaker than the other Dark Masters. I think he was surprisingly weak to be the Dark Master. Instead, for example, Machinedramon or even MetalSeadramon would have immediately crushed MetalEtemon. And Piedmon, of course, no doubt.

Puppetmon being weaker does make him any less 1-C especially seeing as he also fought off the 4 Holy Beasts and sealed them away. Puppetmon is the weakest by far, but he was still only defeated by MetalGarurumon who had a power-up via Darkness.
