My Hero Academia General Discussion Thread #18

It wouldn't have been good. The quality of this season being the best in currently running shows has made a lot of people looks towards MHA as a alternative to OPM.

It literally brought MHA back to main stream conversation (season 7 also played a big part).

It is sad to say but the failure of OPM boosted MHA higher. Both are superhero shows and in the same season so comparison being drawn was inevitable.

If MHA was the bad looking one, the internet would have targeted Bones less and more so made fun of the show and it's fanbase

Could you guys imagine if the final season of MHA had gotten the OPM Season 3 treatment?
Would’ve been bad. I don’t really think there was any chance of that happening though, even Season 5 looks way better than OPM season 3 and that was impacted by COVID and releasing along with Movie 3. I think we just need to be glad Bandai doesn’t own the rights to MHA.

i think the next episode will animate the final punch

one of the most controversial feats in mha

so imma ask for yalls predictions

do you think the anime is gonna upscale it or downscale it?

truly just depends if its like a still frame or slow motion shot vs if they decide to do it a real time sweeping perspective shot with a big bang and spectacle so really it either just stays as or gets upgraded

well its the final season of mha and the big punch to end the last war so i feel like they are gonna go for the big bang option and show the full feat to us OPM style when saitama cleared the clouds

yeah that's what I was thinking of too, like the serious punch against boros type of deal, I would prefer that mixed in but we will have to see

CRT then you press p.

No as far as I know (though I'm not on mobile so it might be the case there) so, if you want to do that, you'll have to process it through imgur (like, you'll import your gallery image there, post it on imgur, then share it here)
Understood 😁

Thank you so much 😊

Upgrade.
they gave quirkless deku more durablity and deku clearing the sky is THE feat of MHA (despite it being from Deku on life support), i'm sure they're make it crazy

I don’t care too much to make a CRT but want to bring it up: shouldn’t all for one and Shigaraki have something like ‘possibly inexhaustible with regen/rewind’?

Over the course of the entire last few arcs, while their quirks are active, I don’t think they’ve shown a single moment of being tired or exhausting themselves meanwhile every single other cast member were nearly dropping dead in the final fight.

Oh, his profile still only had superhuman when I checked a few days ago.

AFO’s profile isn’t changed.

He does still have infinite stamina as long as Rewind is working. As in he can keep attacking without getting tired for that entire period until his death.

wait now that rewind is mentioned

AFO died to rewind right

Then how did this mf appear back in tomura? did he regen or come back from existence erasure?

Mid Godly Regen AFO?
It wasn't the same AFO. It was the AFO that was already in Tomura thanks to passing on his Quirk to Tomura.

He didn’t reappear. The AFO inside Shigaraki, and the final enemy, is his Vestige, as Shigaraki has the Original AFO quirk within him. Like how the other vestiges are in Deku, or how Hawks’ Vestige was inside AFO as he was getting beat down.

But aren't vestiges kinda tied to the body? this is shown through shigaraki, deku, and MAYBEEE sns

Deku is obvious since when his vestige arms were decayed so were his irl arms

shigaraki when his vestiges were getting destroyed by SNS it looked like he was physically getting hurt

and SNS when she was dying her vestige was dying at the same rate

AFO still should have Low Godly though. As Rewind isn't fixing his injuries, just making his body go back in time. Even if his body his physically anihilated down to every atom, Rewind would still bring his younger version back into the timeline itself.

Well, I don't know if Rewind will have an effect on something that no longer physically exists.

Rewind was able to bring back Deku's limbs that were deconstructed by reversing time. All it did was send Deku's body back in time by 3 minutes. AFO's body is under the same effect.

Technically it's not even regeneration, but rather Damage reversal.
