My Greatest Fear....

....is that someone, somewhere might take my fictional ideas and make it big with them. I seriously hope nothing like that ever happens to anyone on this wiki, because no one deserves to have their ideas unknowingly used by and associated with someone else.

What seriously concerns me is that my work would be considered a ripoff and/or generic, even after the years of thought and effort I've put into the ideas, which I would have been laid out before they'd even conceived theirs. It seems that whichever verse becomes popular first is deemed the "original", and anything that comes out later, even if another creator had the idea first, would be deemed a "blatant ripoff" and "unoriginal".

It's honestly terrifying....


I might not have phrased this correctly, but I'm sure any of you will understand where I'm coming from here.

The chance of that actually happening is very slim. Hell, if they did, you can take action because everything you come up which is "original" is your intellectual property. Even someone in America stealing material from someone in Japan won't go very far. Just trust me on that, there's examples in modern times if you look into it.
