I fully agree Gen 6 is extremely underrated, mainly because Gen 5 is so overrated that it makes people forget what came just after it.

Unless your talking about the games strictly, I completely disagree. Gen 6 is treated by many as the messiah of Pokemon and put on an unreachable pedastal because of things like XYZ and all the fan-service it provided (Ash-Grenina power up, an emo-loner and his black charizard, Ash throwing away everything about his character to be mature, Serena's entire existence as a female protag, etc.).
