Rock Lee

Rock Lee vs Blazike

Speed = equalized, no prep. 7-A Blaziken. Fight takes place in the hidden leaf village. What's the outcome?

Blaziken: 2 (KobstarHope07, Abstractions)

Rock Lee: 2 (AstralKing7, Necromercer)

Inconclusive: 0

Let's see, Rock Lee here has the AP advantage of 847 Megatons while Blaziken is around 790 Megatons for being comparable to Charizard.

Speed wise, Blaziken is much faster than Rock Lee since there is no mention of speed equalized. Rock Lee is at MHS+ while Blaziken should be Rel+ but a certain someone still forgetting to update the profile. And let's not forget that Blaziken with Speed Boost can passively increase their speed so Blaziken blitzes with ease.

Blaziken also has the advantage in having a nifty Attack Reflection in the name of Counter so he can dish back to Lee all the damage that Lee had inflicted on the Pokémon. And if in a pinch, Blaziken can increase their power by a lot with their ability Blaze.

If I equalize speed, does it stay that way the entire match, or can Blaziken use his speed boost ability to go faster?

The first Gate amp the speed in 5 times, the upper gates can amp far higher. (But someone forgot to apply this for Shippuden characters ƒñÀÔÇìÔÖé´©Å)

But do they last forever or do they wear off after a certain time period? This match doesn't really have turns as well.
Noted. Turns are just a game mechanic, but we can assume that when the ability is activated "at the end of each turn," it actually means every time Blaziken takes action.

As for if they last forever, Bulbapedia does not give any indication that there is a limit to which Blaziken can boost his speed.

There is a limit for how many times he can boost the speed
There has never been any indication that speed boost has a limit. If you could find a source stating otherwise that would be great, but for now, we can't assume that his speed boost is limited without any evidence.

If there were a cap on Blaziken's speed boost, that raises the question; what's the highest amount of speed Blaziken can achieve? If it's comparable/higher to Deoxys, this would scale him to speeds at up to Massively FTL+ or higher. I might make a new thread for this since speed is equalized in this fight, but this had major content revision implications.

Removed FRB, game mechanic boosts an in-game stat, not enough to justify a speed revision

Don't think that's how it works. Having a higher stat than someone shouldn't make you superior because that's a game mechanic. If we counted that than damaging a legendary makes you scale from them so everyone would be 2-B. Not super familiar with pokemon though.

You're right. I read on some forums that Blaziken's ability only boosts the speed stat up to 6 pts. anyway.

I posted a speed boost clip on an older Blaziken thread, but each speed boost is more significant than the 1.5x that game mechanics gives Blaziken. Yanmega activated speed boost once in a relatively short span of time and it looks like a green blur.

There's also another Pokémon with Ninjask also has speed boost, except he has a white aura/blur once activated.

I'm pretty sure Lee has enough endurance and way more stamina to keep moving through his own damages reflected back to him
Don't forget that his body gets worn out easily if he opens too many gates, which would affect his stamina.

It's not exactly forbidden, but it shows you create the thread out of bias and isn't well seen at all.

In brackets, on the other hand, you're allowed to vote even if you're the OP as the characters ain't propossed by you.
