It's actually from the movie, not the TV series.

The TV series is pretty good for what it is, goofy, lighthearted adventures across a world that makes no freaking sense (but that's the charm of it) with weird storylines. I think my favorite episode is when the Ponies get tricked into going to an evil queens party and get chained up. Partly because of how messed up it was, with ponies dreaming about toddlers dying and visuals like this.

The characters are dumb, in some cases borderline R-word, but if you can ignore the stupidity of the cast then it's goofy, nostalgic fun.

FiM is way, way better, but that doesn't discredit the old show.
