Before the timeskip Ace would take it pretty easy, as Luffy had no way of hitting him and Ace just had a lot more exp in fighting

But afer the timeskip Luffy stomps hard, he has Mastered all three Haki's so hitting him is no problem and adding things like gear 4 make it even more unfair

So before timeskip=Ace wins

After=Luffy wins

Luffy could win this fight, but with high difficulty.

Ace was still a Top Yonkou Commander before his death, that alone would put him on a level comparable with Diamond Jozu and Marco the Phoenix.

And both of them are definitely capable to go toe to toe with Gear Fourth Luffy.

On the same level they are not, but he can hold his own again him, the same is valid with all Top Yonkou Commanders.

Akainu seems only mildly irritated by Vista and Marco's combined attacks though. While Ace's Flame = Pheasant Beak. So Ace might be strongest commander.

Luffy gets my vote with mid dif, if this is snake man luffy or boundmang or even tank man he has a chance at oneshotting Ace, totally with snakeman who has the speed advantage and ap advantage and with pre cog
