Oh you talk about that. I don't see any relevance for this battle thou as Minerva uses nothing similar.

Also, she can trap him in her space and can teleport herself instantly by switching her place with him.

Anyway, to make it easier to understand Minerva's abilty you can watch her torturing Lucy it kinda shows the most as she is one of those wasted potential characters within fairy tail.
