I think the anti-beam shields could use an AP rating, because other verses use similar technology
For example Code Geass beams, which are rated 8-A. Gundam beams have higher AP feats later, so it makes sense that a Gundam shield could not be penetrated by a Code Geass beam
I think the original OBD profiles separate the durability keys like that too

Just stopping in to say I'm here & glad this exists.

I've often wondered about our lack of representation for such a classic & iconic mech anime.

Especially since such mech merch media often has tons of official documents to detail their capabilities; You'd think we'd have tons of blogs & infos on the various Mobile Suits.

I haven't watched much Gundam much myself. While I like a military mindset, I don't care much for character drama, & I fear I'd have a similar issue to Steven Universe: SU fans hated the "townie" episodes which focused on the mundane lives of the side characters in the town, as opposed to the Crystal Gems, the powerful & often giant aliens who most of the conflicts focused on.

But I am interested in how I can get into Gundam, & if there's anything I can help with.

probably just gundams? maybe leo weapons, idr if any of them have straight up boxed with the meteor gundams without just being like ****** vaporized by a buster shot or mowed down

been skimming this thread so I can better transfer some of my prompts from Reddit to here and wow, have I been seriously underestimating Gundam-types even now? Like I know they're hella powerful relative to other machines of their type and rolee but for the longest time, I've always erred on the side of caution and sent more than four machines to take out one target. Maybe I don't need to?

this was what i was thinking of, i've seen that before
i've gone back to watching 0079 (mainly because i want to watch Zeta lol) so i guess i'll make notes of anything relevant i find

It's not really relevant for Amuro because he can't use his Newtype powers offensively but it makes so Kamille upscales Haman blatantly, thus scaling to large island in Newtype Super form

So you all mean to say that the Zeta rigs are overkill for the Battle of Hoth? I had a planned prompt that replaces Snowspeeders with Zetas but yeah, that's a bad idea it seems like. Would be too much of a swing in favor of the Rebellion.

i do not know anything about the relative strength of star wars machines in comparison to Gundams, i am not saying anything in that regard
