The games officially released on November 16th, so I'd hope now is fine to post this.

Depending on which name you want to use for her (Green outside of Japan, as Pokemon Green was exclusive to Japan, Blue in Japan, as Blue released outside of Japan first, or Leaf, based on figurines.), but whichever we choose....

She has now appeared in the games, as a non-player character, with a characterization & a team of Pokemon!

(Interestingly, the Gen 1 rival https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Blue_(Pokémon) is called Green in Japan: "Blue Oak (Japanese: Òé¬Òâ╝Òé¡ÒâëÒâ╗Òé░Òâ¬Òâ╝Òâ│ Green Okido)", & this girl is called Blue, in Japan.)

If you can't or won't watch the video, the story is she wanted to catch Mewtwo, but Let's Go's player character beat her to it. She battles, loses, & in... frustration at being unable to have Mewtwo, I'd assume, decides she wants the protagonist to become her Pokemon; She throws 5 Poke Balls at the protagonist, then runs off.

Notably, she's encountered in Cerulean Cave/Unknown Dungeon. I don't know if it's like in other games, where you need to beat the Champion to access it & if that means SHE beat the Champion, too, but maybe?

Her Pokemon are higher leveled than those of the Champion & she also gives Mewtwonite X & Y after losing in battle.

(Supposedly, Let's Go is a different continuity from the main games, which I can readily believe. I've also read claims some characters are more like their Manga Counterparts. I'm not very knowledgeable on the Manga, so I can't weigh in on that.)
