Hey, so there's a calc for Monster Carrot surviving the moon being blown up back in the original Dragon Ball: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:EmeraldBR/Dragon_Ball:_Monster_Carrot_durability
Evidence of him surviving comes from this panel of Monster Carrot making mochi on the moon:
I have tentatively approved the calculation, but then there's something I think may be concerning to you peeps out there. There is potential for Monster Carrot's feat to be deemed faulty, either because it's an outlier relative to other characters of the original Dragon Ball series (let alone the Pilaf Saga where Monster Carrot was actually some form of threat), or because whatever moon rock he stood on might have shielded him from the explosion.
In the former case, I do think scans of him being yeeted into the moon in the first place will potentially help his case depending on what the materials shows, but aside from the Battle Jackets, I don't think there's anything else that had done anything comparable.
In the latter case, I feel there isn't really any defense against him surviving via a rock shielding him. I mean, he's right on the thing that's exploding, but on the surface of said exploding thing, so uhh... Yeah.
So this is why I put up the CRT: I seek discussion as to whether Monster Carrot's feat would be acceptable or not. If so, I can see quite an upheaval in Dragon Ball's scaling, but if not (and more likely I don't think it'll be approved), well, at least I can say the math was fine even though the calc turned out to be bonk. So yeah, let's see how this would go.
