Prior to the events at Mount Massive Asylum, Miles Upshur was a typical journalist working for a typical news company but then one day he was fired due to the said company finding his articles unacceptable. Now working as a freelance journalist, Miles receives an anonymous tip about a mall recently opened by Fazbear Entertainment, an elden business plagued by a history of scandal. Rumors circulating around children disappearing, popular mascots engaging in suspicious activity after hours, and even claims made by early patrons about the area sometimes “glitching out”. Upon learning about the company’s dark background, Miles believes documenting the Pizzaplex will be his big break. At midnight, Miles sneaks into the three storey building where he starts recording everything he sees, tens of minutes pass and he has somehow made it underground to a dark network of tunnels, the young apostle gets ready to set his camcorder to night vision mode when suddenly a bright light flashes behind him. “Stop right there!” shouts a female voice.
