Mgrr characters should be scaled up to city level.

Why?
Well raiden and Sam and the rest of mgrrs characters have absolutely destroyed an upgraded Metal gear ray.
Now in metal gear peace Walker hal states “NO! I’m telling you, That Armour was designed to withstand a NUCLEAR WAR” so by this peace Walker is able to withstand an impact of a nuclear bomb, from the 50s to 70s. And due to the time peace Walker takes place in 1974 so right around the time nuclear weapons where at around 50 megatons, if using the Tsar bombas yield. And all the peace Walker metal gears are stated to be worse then the TX-55 which then is stated to be weaker then Metal gear Rex which metal gear ray damaged and is comparable to in mgs4. And the ray in MGRR has CNT muscle fibres so it’s stronger then previous ray models. so they scale above city level at most.
This video goes into it a little more for Sam.

(Idk how to link images)

The Peace Walker statement is specifically about its inner armor, the mech as a whole isn't as durable and can be damaged by Big Boss' weapons, which are obviously not nuke-level strong. Whether TX-55 is or isn't stronger than Peace Walker, that wouldn't necessarily mean all of its armor is more durable than its inner insides since it lacks that section completely. Various other future Metal Gears are also brought down with conventional if very strong weaponry, so they're clearly not nuke-level durable.

To link images you just upload the image to something that can be linked (imgur is my personal favorite) and link that.

Post sauce.

Perhaps, but PW's inner armor is made from shit so durable that BB literally unloading his whole ******* arsenal on it, like, maybe scuffs it up, the same weapons that not only put PW itself on its ass for a bit, but the weapons that Raiden and Solidus can use to harm RAY's that came like 30 years later themselves.

Big boss states that TX-55 is the ultimate weapon. Which could mean it’s better then Peace Walker in every aspect. Even as a prototype.

It's the ultimate weapon in the sense that (by that point of the MGS chronology) it's the ultimate nuclear deterrent/weapon, since it's more compact and efficient than ZEKE or Peace Walker. It's also capable of launching nukes freely, which Peace Walker can't, it can only do so after one is fired on the US.

It's kinda weird to think about given that they're all huge powerful mechs, but direct combat is pretty low in a Metal Gear designer's list of priorities since they're never even meant to see combat, they're indirect weapons first and foremost and combat prowess is almost an afterthought, the Emmerichs are just weebs.

“the Emmerichs are just weebs.” Lol

You make a fair point. But they are still made for nuclear war. So we can assume they should atleast be able to dish out the same amount of damage. Though before you might mention it. Them needing to be durable does fall apart because the whole point of them being mobile is to avoid getting hit in the first place.

though sahelanthropus is equipped with a ton of combat weaponry. Including a literal gundam sword. Though sahelanthropus is just as if not more advanced the rex even though sahelanthropus is like 30 years ahead of its time.

Sahel isn't really more advanced then Rex, different things they both excel at. Sahel was a direct combat type and even had a built in suicide function and failsafes.

But none of the MGS' can walk off the payloads, some of them have megaton warheads, yet we know some kilo yields can straight up murderize things like Sahel (given it's uranium deposit is in that range and it's a literal self destruct).

Also Sahelanthropus, while very advanced in a lot of regards, straight-up doesn't work. You just can't pilot it, you'd need a child to drive it since the cockpit isn't big enough for an adult and even if you got that, it literally doesn't work unless Psycho Mantis is making it work. So it's not really a particularly useful weapon in most hands.

I always thought sah was wiredly advanced with its metallic archaea being able to negate metals durability or what ever it does. But considering it’s barley able to function with out a ghost child holding its hand is funny. But considering where it is in the timeline it’s wiredly advanced.

Metallic Archaea is definitely a perk, but I wouldn't say that means it's more technologically advanced, it'd be like saying the Skulls are more advanced than like Ray. Archaea is just a part of the kit it has, a good ability, but has no real bearing on its specs and schematics.

Yeah i just found out archea is just some sort of funky microbe that eats uranium and other metals electrons. I thought it was either Nanomachines, but that was to early for them to appear. Or that archea was magic dust that ate metal.
