Mewtwo vs Samus redux

Oh great, another Hunter vs Samus thread

Fantastic

Anyway, more detail, Samus can kill Mewtwo with a twitch of her finger but Mewtwo's AP advantage and thought based TK gurantee a win

Even when Mewtwo grabs Samus she still can't move to aim her weapon
 
Well regardless, I think the fact that MB (No not og Mother Brain if anyone thought that's what that means) and other chozo (Not the ones on the page) have shown Telekinesis to be a subset ability of psychics (And Pokemon has done the same, at least with mewtwo's version of the move) means that verse equalization or not it would still be nulled...

.. If we also ignore the possibility that the cancer or radiation from Samus' Phazon suit doesn't kill Mewtwo first.
 
MB never had anything to do with Phazon. It still isn't compatible, @SD. Psychic isn't a catch-all term for most verses.

Also doesn't look like she has TK either.
 
Correct, but MB's psychic powers were due to her connection to Mother Brain, who in turn has the abilities thanks to the Chozo's own powers.

As for the later statement, I already pointed out that telekinesis as an aspect of psychics is the same for both verses in this case, so its not an issue.

If you mean that psychic in pokemon doesn't mean psychic in metroid, not sure what to tell you other than to create a thread, because I've seen verse equalization work on far more different abilities.
 
MB doesn't have TK on her profile is what I'm saying. And still, Phazon doesn't resist TK according to the profile, as it didn't resist it.

There was already a thread. Pokemon is a one-way street. Juvia for example being water means her attacks will do twice as much to Charizard, but it doesn't mean Charizard will be doing half to her because it hasn't been established that water is weak to fire there.
 
If they have passive or thought based hax that obliterates Mewtwo before he can TK them, then they win.

Achilles's defensive hax protect him from all ill will unless it is from a divine source, and Karna has the resistances to potentially get off his large planet level nuke on Mewtwo if Mewtwo tries his mind hax. the only requirement for Karna would be that he would probably need intel on how strong his enemy is

He is walking around in the same war as Karna who is carrying around Large Planet level weapons. His protection explicitly does not work on the axis of strength, but on the axis of divinity. If we take that to be on the level of the strongest divine spirit, that would be Star level to solar system level before you start pushing NLF. I am gonna be using base mewtwo anyway, cuz
 
Wait, why or how is Mewtwo 3x superior to Xerneas?

Yveltal and Xerneas are slightly superior to 50% Zygarde

Mega Mewtwo was getting overpowered by 50% to the point where the power gap was obvious, stated by Lysandre himself.
