Metro Man really FTL or even more?

It's quite a long time we didn't mention Metro Man. And talking about him, the first thing comes to our mind is his speed. So does his speed surpass the light speed?
Here are my opinions:
1. Some people believe that he is not FTL because of the Death Ray and explosion scenes. But I have a different thought, maybe he don't need to use his full potential at that moment. Travelling everywhere and enjoying a normal day of normal people in just about 1 second or less will need much more speed than just escape from death ray and fake the death. And as we see, Metro Man seems to completely stop the time (although he maybe can prove even more potential) is a proof that Metro Man can be FTL or more
2. In a very short scene after Megamind order to fire the Death Ray, Metro Man was behind Megamind. But the thing is Metro Man still appears in the other screen and his image just a little bit blur when he appear behind Megamind. This is another proof to ensure that he can be FTL or more, because he's too fast that he seems to be at 2 places in the same time. In fact, many character in animations with FTL or MFTL+ speed can be seen to be at 2 places in the same time.
So after all, is Metro Man can reach FTL? For me, the answer is yes. Although we cannot exactly calculate it but with those proofs above, I believe that he can be even MFTL+ when he reaches full potential, or at least FTL for now

P/s: I'm not Metro Man fanboy, so please be nice when discuss. Feel free to share your opinions here

Hey what does that mean, can you explain

He doesn't need to be FTL to do that. He could live out a whole day in a 0.014 of a second and still not be FTL.
For example, if his perception was just around SoL, comparatively to a average human, would be like 60,000,000x different. This is a lot.

The time it would take a human to react on average, 0.2 seconds, would be like, almost 140 days from his perception alone.

Of course he moved around a lot too, but that doesn't matter, for arguments sake, given he seemingly statued everything, let's just highball and say the WHOLE thing took place in the time it takes something to fall 1mm, so 0.0143 seconds.
He would have had to move a combined 4,290 kilometers to be just SoL, let alone FTL.

He just needs to be quicker than the frame rate of the live feed, this would give us a timeframe of 16.67 milliseconds for him to do everything. Still wouldn't be enough for FTL.

Not enough. Metroman didn't cover thousands of km. And he doesn't need to be FTL to live out a day, if he was FTL he couldve lived many days out in those 14 milliseconds.

OP with scans added;
