Kiryu Is either Automatic mode or piloted by Asuka from Evangelion.

I see. Is he piloted in this key? If so, would killing Asuka make it able to control itself freely, or does it need to be "activated" in some way to work automatically?

Regular attacks are just NPI. They don't bypass durability. Not resisting soul manip doesn't mean Makoto one-shots. It just means Makoto can incap with ailments.

Yes he is piloted in this key. Asuka is an Angel though not a regular human, Also yes in the case Asuka is killed somehow Kiryu is able to control itself freely as his previous keys.

Before continue I have to note that it has been a good debate so far, not like that Goku debate I was previously.

On topic Kiryu has Reactive Evolution that allows him to evolve, become better and break his own limits.

Second He can Summoning (Anguirus and Moguera), who mostly on his same league, they can be used to distract Makoto, while Kiryu prepares a final blow.

Kiryu has also all the three types of Self-Sustenance (Types 1, 2 and 3) which means Kiryu has Limitless stamina. I think Makoto has good advantages, but with Kiryu stamina I would say if the battle extends to much Makoto will definitely lose this, Kiryu only has to play at defensive for a time and whoala!

Also Kiryu has A.T. Fields (Can be used both defensively and offensively, such as in the form of optic blasts), Statistics Reduction, Can bypass Laser Barriers.

And for stats reduction Kiryu has Statistics Amplification (Physical power, ranged attack, speed and durability amplification) and Damage Boost

Gonna vote for Kiryu.

Reactive Evolution is good and all, until Makoto uses Mudo and instant kills him with a thought.

Makoto can summon multiple Personas, each of which act of their own will. He is also very used to being in battles where it may be multiple oppponents against him, and has AOE debuffs, or just spam his AOEs in general.

Barriers don't matter, Almighty Attacks bypass them.

His stat amps don't matter when Makoto can decrease his attack, defense, accuracy and evasion, while boost his.

Mudo sounds like NLF

Also why Kiryu stats amps dont matter when he can even increase his stats even more than before with ease?

As previously stablished Kiryu has higher AP/Durability than Makoto. He only needs a one or two good hits to win. And in a long run I bed Makoto can fight for hours at best?

Well Kiryu can fight forever, which means in the long run Kiryu will emerge victorius.

Mind explaining how thought-based Death Manipulation is NFL?

His stat amps can be debuffed while Makoto buffs his own.

He may have higher durability and AP, but I don't think that stops Makoto's Personas from outhaxing him.

I don't see why stamina is a relevant factor here either.

Mind you explain how that is gonna work on a machine?

Kiryu can do the same to Makoto.

Not if they are busy with multiple Mogueras and Anguirus on the same league as Kiryu, also how many Personas he can summong btw?

When you fight with someone who never needs to needs to take a rest, and you only have High stamina for a couple of hours, you will see how important the stamina is.

Kiryu didn't even needs to dodge Blue Emo attacks, just compare their ranges

Kiryu

Range:
Tens of meters by sheer size, at least Stellar to Interplanetary with ranged attacks

Makoto

Range:
Extended melee range, Several Kilometers with Persona skills

Makoto doesn't have the OO here, so it doesn't matter.

Mudo works on Shadows, which are quite literally repressed thoughts and emotions within someone's unconscious, which also exist in the Sea of Souls. It's not farfetched to say it'd work on a machine, considering Shadows can take the form of swords, golems, etc, and still die to Mudo.

His stats don't matter when Makoto can negate all of them with Dekaja with a thought, and once more, boost his. Kiryuu has no way of reducing Makoto's stats, meaning any advantage he starts to get is immediately nulled. As far as the profile is concerned, he has no way of debuffing Makoto. Even if he could Dekunda would render that null.

Once more, Makoto can summon multiple Personas, so stalling him out isn't going to work. Even if it could, Makoto has AOE attacks (including AOE Mudo).

Range doesn't matter as they aren't stated to be far apart in the OP.

His stamina isn't a problem, considering he can keep healing himself as much as he wants.

When he actively uses a skill, yes but thanks to the Arms and Spell Master passives which cuts the costs in half and invigorate which allows him to constantly regenerate his SP it's mitigated.

I know when is time to admit a defeat. If Makoto can reflect everything Kiryu has then there is not much he can do to counter that.

Vote for Makoto

This will be a victory for Makoto until the day Kiryu gets upgraded to Tier 2-B ;)

Lol, it's plausible that Makoto might be 2-B in the future, but it's gonna take a lot of effort.
I hope see you all again, if is possible in a Kiryu and Makoto rematch both as 2-B. This was fun!

Not like those debates with DBS fans XD

I think I'll also put my vote in Anime Jesus FRA
