Kiryu was stronger even before the downgrade to the star feat, not to mention the fact the Absolute Zero Cannon would be kind of a GG blow since...y'know...getting your atoms frozen in place hasn't really been shown by anything base Thanos took. Kiryu also has a range advantage.
