Loki's matter manipulation (which is more likely transmutation) was never shown being combat applicable. You see, when he fought Thor, numerous times, he never used it. Same with Kurse, or Captain America, or everyone.

But.. It says he probably turned Thor into a frog. If he did that then I would assume it is combat applicable and he didnt do it for plot reasons.

Anywho it's in character for Loki to start with his mind tricks. The scenario I see playing out is he thinks he's force choking Loki but then it turns out it's a clone and he gets shanked before he reacts. pre-cog or not I don't think he'll react in time. I mean If Loki does look on as his illusion gets choked out can't he himself just do the same to Kylo with his telekinesis?

EDIT: You can count my vote for Loki btw.

EDIT 2: Snoke put it best. Kylo got beaten by a girl who had never wielded a lightsaber. I don't think he's gonna beat an Asgardian with the prowess, mind fuckery and smarts Loki has under his belt.

He was seriously wounded physically (He got slashed with a lightsaber and shot in the gut with a blaster bolt) and mentally torn over killing Han Solo. He was nowhere near peak condition.

What's to exploit? He's mentally unstable as is. Get's triggered faster than an SJW. It's IC for Loki to lead with mind fuckery. All Kylo is leaning on is his Precog so he can force choke Loki. I still don't see how that helps since I wasn't aware being force choked meant suddenly you aren't allowed to create more illusions and confuse the hell out of a mentally unstable young man as to where his real enemy is standing. Hell duplication is also an option.

He does actually. If theres one thing Loki is good at it's pissing people off. And because Kylo is unstable it's not the hardest thing to do. I'm not saying nor have I ever claimed Loki knows anything about Kylo so I don't know why you feel the need to repeat yourself but the point I'm trying to make m8, is that he'll involuntarily exploit his weakness just by doing Loki things.
