SSB Goku is several times over baseline universal and has greater experience (several years worth), flight, Muuuucchh greater range, Instant Transmission, and Kaioken to increase his stats even further (countering Matt amping his own stats)

I give my vote to Goku as well due to better range, experience, and higher stats in general. Only way I can see Matt somehow winning this is if they accidentally destroy the planet and Goku suffocated, but Goku would probably teleport on a planet with a breathable air in such a case (like he did against Kid Buu)

Well, Matt can't fly with his own power, he just has a flying sword which he can maneuver.

Matt is above baseline Universe level too, since slaying Akron was in the "mid point" of his series, give or take. But yeah, I think Goku has it. Goku is a skillful martial artist while Matt mostly relies on brute force and magic. Only think Matt has going for him is his willingness to destroy the planet, which he can survive (See: Ending of Battle Royale 2) but I doubt he'd do that from the get go.

Isn't that a stomp match without speed equalized anyway? If it was equalized, Goku would have a x20 times speed advantage thanks to Kaioken but Matt has better hax. Here the difference of speed is in the billions of time.

Speed Equalization doesn't work like that, any ability that increases speed would no longer increase speed, but yea, speed should be equalized

I'm pretty sure Annihilate has Death Manipulation side effects. when used against the party, it can kill them. When a party member dies, they become a ghost, implying it's actual Death Manipulation.

If that's what happens when you die from any attack, it just seems like a One Hit Kill attack, like Fissure, Sheer Cold, or Guillotine in Pokemon

He can also inflict the status "Doom" (which is basically a curse that kills you after a bit) with normal attacks when equipped with the Life Shaver or the Crossbones Pin. This one is a bit less useful, but he could use it and spam healing until the curse works
