Iirc he hides in a pipe the entire game and gives stuff to them if they lose a level but still is very suspicious he never does this anywhere else and needed a time machine the other times he's done it

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, Zach, but an absolutely terrible comparison.

One feat is a matter of hax.

The other, is a gag and an outlier beyond even the best feats in the series by an infinite amount.

They both fall under the category of if the character has that ability they wouldn't use other, more difficult methods. If Mario can time travel that easily why has he never used whenever it would be useful.

Which is quite a lot.

A character getting an ability with no explanation that they've only used once is an outlier ability.

What hax, Mario literally just appears as basically a extra moment at the en of the credits, Bowser time traveling in New Island makes sense, he has access to magic himself and has Kamek and in general magikoopas to help him do it.


Mario? Eh he;s Mister Pipe but we never not even ONCE get any info on how he did it.

Princess Peach? she doesnt have time travel or manipulation on her profile.


So WHERE does it come from? How did Mario time travel, what if anything did he use?

The problem is the action in THOSE scenes are plausible and have context.


It'd like if at the end of I dont know Avengers 2 or whatever Spiderman showed off he can slow down time.
