Dude, I'm calm. I was just saying that Hakai isn't much of an argument, because Goku doesn't really need it, on top of not spamming it.

Next, how much can Chill Out reduce an enemy's power? Because the difference between the two is quite large, I would think. Goku is on the higher half of 3-B, where there's a 104,000,000,000,000,000,000,000x difference between the weakest and strongest. Even if he did reduce it, the gap would be so wide that it wouldn't probably matter.

Finally, isn't Mario's resurrection done via an item? The 1-Up Glove? Which the OP's conditions restricted?

Just remember that the only things Mario currently has access to in power ups is the Cape, the Fire Flower, and F.L.U.D.D. from his SBE, like his moveset in Smash.
The op says power-ups. The items Mario uses such as the battle cards aren't considered power-ups and are most likely in his base tab because they are standard equipment. Otherwise it would've been made as optional equipment instead. The only hax Mario uses that involve items are resurrection, sealing, and damage nullification. And while that does help him a lot, he can also flip through dimensions. When using Flip, Goku won't be able to do literally anything to Mario. Using the argument that Mario doesn't use his hax from the start or in character is debatable. This is due what game he is in. Usually when a Mario game releases, they add a new gimmick and thus is the gimmick you'll mostly be using. For example, when Mario has F.L.U.D.D. then he'll mainly use it. If he has Cappy, he'll mainly use it. So again, Mario technically does use his hax early in character when the game revolves around that ability. So yes, Mario would use his hax early on. Meaning he can easily just flip, flip back, and use transmution against Goku. Flip has been a move Mario has used to his advantage in combat, so there is no reason to assume why he wouldn't here. Not to mention his time manipulation (Zone Speed) can give him the edge of attacking first and finishing it. My vote stays.

No, there's no specific hax/ability Mario would start with, so if he were to start with something like F.L.U.D.D., he'd get kick into oblivion (he could res, but there's no guarantee Goku wouldn't just Solar Flare him and do it again), but if he starts with a better ability, of which he has way more that oneshot Goku, Mario wins

Also, he technically wouldn't be leading with Solar Flare, as I was referring to him using it after Mario has resurrected to put him down again

Mario doesn't resist Matter Destruction so no.

And this isn't a stomp for Mario. Goku has so much of an AP advantage that he one-shots with basically any attack, has more combat experience, and the Hakai will be useful.

But Mario can resurrect (5 times) himself (Though it's entirely possible that Goku can kill Mario five times), and would probably use some of his more potent hax after realizing how much stronger Goku is. And Mario, isn't an idiot, and wouldn't try to use physical force or average abilities after they fail and end up getting him killed.

>It is fine to restrict abilities in a versus matchup. However, matches that are arranged this way should not be added to the character profiles, as they don't involve their full potential, and are only intended for casual entertainment. An exception would be if the restricted ability/technique has a separate tier from the main one. In this case the match can be added.
