Oh that's good to at least justify more on the Small City level rank.

For the last question? Idk. Someone who knows about the Mario series can try to answer that part.

In any case, i can at least link the calc above for the moment...
 
I'm pretty sure it's through scaling to other Mario characters, but I dunno the specifics.
 
Probably. I think we might have to take those out and just have Mario as Small City level then.
 
Island level stats for the Bros. comes from scaling to Dark Bowser in the M&L series. Dark Bowser created a hurricane that was going to destroy the Mushroom Kingdom, but Bowser defeated him. The Bros. then smacked Bowser in the mouth

The problem with the calc is the size of the Mushroom Kingdom. He assumes its diameter is a mere 40 km wide, when in actuality it should be FAR larger, considering the various lands found in it. That would boost all 4 characters up quite a bit
 
@Metabro: Well that's good that it justifies the Island stat. We could have it being recalc'd here though if one can provide scans of what the Mushroom Kingdom's lands are seen and such.

If not we can at least stick with the calc you showed here, Meta.

Oh that's good to hear. Thing is that Regi, the one who did the calc you linked from a bit earlier, made that comment like a year ago.

In the chance that he doesn't happen to do it, we can at least go to our calc group here on VS and see if they can try to do this. Of course, gotta provide scans for them to work with it.

Anyways, does anybody have any idea as to who Mario is scaled to that got him the 7-A rank? Cause otherwise i'll take that out due to being unjustified.

Hmm. Well given that the calc only resulted in Island level by our scale, that's pretty much what we'll have to go by for the moment.

Should we just take out the 7-A tier anyways? WE at least have something that justifies the Low 7-B and 6-C tier so far...
 
Well i only inserted the Low 7-B calc. I didn't do the 6-C one yet, however.

I'll likely have to highlight this and see what happens then...
 
This is my opinion but shouldn't mario and luigi be stronger than Kamek since he is 6-b possibly higher should mario and luigi be higher as since they beat Bowser and Kamek on a regular? Just a thought.
 
Okay so the reasons for Kamek's tier is this.

For Low 7-B, he's of that tier for knocking out Mario with one spell during SMG (though it didn't say if this was EoG Mario or BoG Mario. Most likely the latter). For his 6-B tier, it's because he was able to take out Giant Luigi in his weakened state. This one coming from Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.
 
I'm not sure it matters. Mario defeated him later that game and Kamek's feat in the calc took place after Galaxy. It's probable that Mario got stronger since then
 
For the SMG mario he wasn't technically knocked out during the impact, but probably after the was shot at FTL speed to another planet when he met a strange luma. As for dream team yea luigi survived the attack, but it really do hurt luigi at all and Mario was there also when Kamek used his last resort attack
 
Thank you for helping out with finding calculations. I think that it might be good to ask Dino Ranger Black for input. I think that he was very active in the Mario upgrade threads, but may misremember.
 
He probably was, yes.

I'll go ask him to try to clear this up.

Also, is it just me or does the tiers and statistics of several of the characters like Bowser, Kamek, Peach, and Yoshi + some others seem a bit......weird? Like not to sound doubtful but i feel as tho the characters base stats seem somewhat unjustified?
 
I do not know, but help with finding calculations would be appreciated.
 
Like for Yoshi, he's Building level yet he has a 7-A tier for beating a giant sized Baby Bowser.

Unless Baby Bowser had the durability of a Mountain, i think that should be looked into.

But i'll have Dino come and see what he can do about this.
 
Yoshi has defeated Kamek on numerous occasions. He also fought and defeated present-day Bowser twice. I don't really see what that has to do with a Mario thread though

Hmm. Tho i should have just saved that in case a major mario bros. thread were to occur.

But anyways.....does anybody know if we should take out the 7-A tier or not?
 
"At least Low 7-B. Likely 6-C" with linked calculations seems fine to me.
