Marauder (DOOM) vs Swordsmachines (ULTRAKILL)

A battle between the most annoying enemies in FPS games, i guess

-Both are 8-C
-Battle takes place in 0-3: DOUBLE DOWN
-Speed is equalized
-Two Scrapheads are present (So it won't be overwhelmed and die instantly when Marauder spam summons)
-The rest are SBA

Swordsmachines:
Marauder:
They chatted about how Doom Slayer and V1 traumatized them:

So, The Swordsmachine is 1.372379705 tons and iirc Marauder is >0.9888221350717017 Tons of TNT so The Swordsmachines do have an AP advantage, they also neg Marauder's immo's which makes taking them down easier. But besides that, I feel like the Marauder holds a good few advantages here. He has his wolf or Demon summons to hold off one of the Swordsmachines while he takes out the other, he has amps with things like Demonic onslaught to close the AP gap and cut can damage by 50% for 4 seconds with Armored. I'll also note that the heat from the crucible axe is probably hot enough to cut through the Swordsmachines relatively easily.

I guess it's a vote for Marauder ?

Also the Swordsmachine has an rage amp too, kind of, although not as significant as the Marauder's, but still notable. Its sword skills (where it can somehow throw the sword around itself in a horizontal direction) can also get the Marauder into trouble even with its shield. They could tag V1, an extremely mobile and skilled machine before. They also fought multiple enemies at onces, including some with shields, so this won't be much different

I'm not voting yet, I'm gonna wait a bit for more arguments before I vote.

His shield has 8-A dura so he can easily block the sword being thrown at him with no problem.

8-A dura shield is a big deal, however these scrapheads with their skills, can throw swords like this, it wouldn't be surprising if they could use their swords to hit Marauders from behind or something like that

If the Marauder blocks the sword it probably won't go through him and boomerang him in the back. And even if he dose get hit in the back with sword he'll know that it's sword boomerangs back to Swordsmachine and that he'll need to look out for that in the future.

that's fair ouch. Also, I'd like to think that Marauder, when distracted by the sword, could get punched in the face by the Swordsmachine (can not find the vid scan rn but ye it can do that), although if it was grabbed by him it would be kinda over but other Swordsmachine may have a chance to attack (If it can finish the wolves and demons in time)

Oh yeah, speaking of wolves, is his summoning instant or can he summon with his thoughts?

I don't think the Marauder would need to take his eyes off the Swordsmachine to deal with the thrown sword considering all he has to do is put his shield up or sidestep.

In both the battlemode and in the main game he can summon almost instantly.

Looking at the gameplay, I guess he can only summon 3-4 demons and wolves every 45 secs? And besides Baron, the others seem like they can be easily dealt with i think
He only summoned the wolf in that battlemode clip the rest were already there. The summoning cooldown for other demons is only a few seconds and the wolf has a only 24 sec cool down, only the Baron takes 45 secs to be summoned again afaik. The Marauders summons are only a bit weaker then him so their not gonna be that easy to take out.

yeah im ngl an 8-A shield sounds problematic for the swordsmachines

thing is I don’t know much abt doom so im just gonna wait for any further input from other people

Ye nah 6 seconds cd is wild ngl, but I think before the number of demons and wolves increases too much, the swordsmachine can still take them down in time while the other one is fighting Marauder, they fought multiple enemies at once that were as strong or even stronger than them before, so this won't be much different

Tho now I feel like leaning towards Marauder

Well, the Marauder's summons are pretty formidable. For example; The Arachnotron can shoot plasma, climb up walls, and quickly dash sideways to avoid incoming projectiles. All his summons also have infinite stamina so it's gonna take a bit to put them down and even if they do die, the Marauder can just pop a new one a few seconds later.
