Manor's Attic (Roleplay)

"Good thing you're not stupid enough to alert the other ones to our presence as well or someone would have ripped your wings off.", he muttered while observing their interaction.
"And it's a good thing we have in common a good English so that you know what 'piss off' means, no? No-one needs to be disturbed to be told about some fool's presence, praising our lord is a much more worthy activity than giving attention to you." Says the fey who now flew away to get to another point up high and start its prayers. Seems like its audition is way better than you thought...would it be only her?

((Only to whoever has enhanced senses: ))
You noticed, looking around that most of them aren't doing anything but some of them* are indeed trying to hide that they know what you're all doing, some doing better than others...maybe some are indeed hiding? You don't know.

*-if both of your characters have Enhanced Senses, you know that it's only the guys with pins.

"It speaks English? I thought I was listening to the language of bullshit. And they're not even praying to the right God.", Mea shrugged and muttered again now with the knowledge that the fey could apparently hear him perfectly fine from this distance.

The disguises aren't working very well. Not that we need them anyway.

First, the fey was wanting to keep it down, ignore you...but after the offending of its God, it grabbed a Bow of The Solar, an immensely powerful bow that has 50% chance of killing immediately whoever gets hit by its arrow... Mea's Cosmic Awareness tells him immediately that one more word and his life would be in a immediate severe threat.

He looked back at the follower and in an act of defiance showcased his own deadly weapon... the middle finger. He did it while projecting his aura (Conqueror's Haki) towards the fey at the same time to intimidate it into lowering the bow (What? You said "one more word" and he isn't using any).

"For someone who wanted to be cautious, you have the subtlety of an ox." The robbed man said, his eyes shifting from the Dark Fey to Mea. He let out a sigh of feigned exasperation before walking towards the healer the creature had pointed out earlier, flashing them an amicable smile.

"They already knew who we were the moment we stepped foot in this temple. Besides, it's not my fault that it has an ego bigger than its brain. You might be a vile being but at least you have this little thing called forbearance, unlike this idiot.", Mea glanced at him while responding.

His course of action seemed to have paid off as the ill-mannered worshipper quickly backed down and put away its killing tool.

"Yeah, that's what I thought. If you're gonna aim your weapon at someone then you better be ready to put your own life on the line for it. After all, death ain't a children's game."

Mea continued to stare at the fey until it averted its gaze, not wanting him to see the fear and nervousness on its face. He then turned and continued walking to his destination.

"Uh o- I mean, greetings! H-How can we help you?", one of the individuals who were tasked with curing others asked. It looked anxious, most likely due to the fight that nearly broke out a moment ago.

"You may begin by telling us things that we haven't heard already.", Mea answered as he approached them. The being almost panicked when it saw the monster who had somehow made one of the most devoted members of their religion freeze in terror with a single gesture.

"I-I don't quite understand your request. Can you elaborate, please?"

((I'd be happy to know what happens next both to this fella and with the healers lol))

Glacius (and Kenny i guess) searched for one of these pin guys on their own, if he encountered an equally rude Dark Fey, Glacius would show them why his evil level can reach 7/10

This is of course in other side that is not visited by the rest

Zib, as mentioned before, has been talking to one of the pinned people, coincidentally on the region of the healers the poorly educated fey mentioned. On the same scheme as the last time, invisible and completely unhearable, seeming like the cultists is talking alone

"Forgive my boorish companion. My interest lies in a...different field." He drawled. Gingerly, the robbed man extended his hand from his sleeve, placing it on one of their patients. "You see...I'm something of a healer myself. And I am more curious about your methods".

The other fairies avoided them, walking or even flying somewhere else every time they tried to get close. They either really didn't want to answer the party's questions or were still terrified by the prior events and afraid that they might get hurt. Strangely enough, the people guarding the building weren't doing anything about it.

(POV: You're Glacius and Kenny trying to strike up a conversation with the followers.

Zib, as mentioned before, has been talking to one of the pinned people, coincidentally on the region of the healers the poorly educated fey mentioned. On the same scheme as the last time, invisible and completely unhearable, seeming like the cultists is talking alone
"Shoo! Don't you see I'm busy? How many times do I have to repeat this to you?"

Whoever was nearby could see a fey with red and white wings and a pin on one of its shoulders angrily shouting at the air.
"Forgive my boorish companion. My interest lies in a...different field." He drawled. Gingerly, the robbed man extended his hand from his sleeve, placing it on one of their patients. "You see...I'm something of a healer myself. And I am more curious about your methods".
"I-Is that so? Well, we unfortunately cannot reveal the mysteries of our techniques. They're meant to be kept a secret. You can say that they're miracles from our Sa-"

"Yeah yeah. I already know how you do it. You manipulate someone's mind to make them feel like they're no longer sick when they're really not, kind of like placebos.", Mea interrupted. The healer's eyes widened in shock.

"I'll admit, it does actually help for, I don't know, half of the cases. It definitely can't save people from delibitating injuries or incurable diseases but hey, at least you tried.", he continued. It listened, mouth agape with incredulity.

"Now, are you going to spit out everything you know about this Church... or do we have to make you?", the knight asked.

"Uh... I-I...", the stranger stuttered in apprehension.

((I've used magic to get him befriended, it doesn't work, then?))

(Some of the feys including the pinned ones can see through the party's disguises which are created using Kenny's telepathy and mind hax)
Another fey creature with dark wings but now some butterfly wings with a white shirt with the pin of the head of the figure with the most ominous aura you ever seen as if it was a God for it...notices the lust for women this creature, friendly to whoever approaches it together with whoever might be his company and turns towards the two

"Our religion clearly forbids such filth and you are friends with that...filthy fellow on the horse. State your intents here or be gone, Galakh forsaken and lustful creatures from hell" says this dark fey with now the clear attitude a dark fey might have.

As you all see some white-skinned, fey creature with the aspect of a blue butterfly wings on its back attacking absolutely nothing on the air beside it, you all see that Zib may not be having too many results either

((Won't be able to make actions tonight as I'm not home and am celebrating my 6month-old relationship in a pizzeria. Sorry yall, until tomorrow.))
(Wait, so the fey can see through their disguises? And it's not going to warn everyone else in the Church about them? Also, it's funny how it only cares about the drunk lustful woman in the group while ignoring the horse with a face that only a mother can love and 3 dudes who look like they'll murder its whole family)

(It's fine bro. Take your time and have fun)
(You agreed with it too, no?)

He ignore the fairies and try to see if there are other species which are part of the pin guys

Perhaps the narrator should have clarified it better. EVERYONE refused to be anywhere close to the two of them. As it was made obvious already, some of these folks including the pin guys could see through their disguises so they were watching a normal looking guy and A 7'8 HALF-LIZARD DEMON THING moving towards them. The fey from earlier might have been too annoyed to care about appearances but these ones definitely did. This wasn't even mentioning the violent intentions of not only Glacius but also some other members of the Attic Team (yeah, I'm calling them that from now on) which a few individuals within the Church could pick up, apparently.

Fortunately, no violent intents were in Zib's mind, who tried approaching another pin user to get information, this time, without the use of magic

Glacius sighed and sat down on the ground

"Okay kid, any ideas now?" he asked Kenny while using his clairvoyance to search for anything in the distance that would be useful.

"Disappointing." He said flatly. The patient beneath his grip began to twitch, convulse, writhing across the floor as if they were a bug doused with insecticide. Muscles bulged, engorged flesh straining against the fabric of their robes before tearing through them entirely, leaving nothing but a half-tattered cloth that adorned their waist and draped across their chest. Without warning, it pounced, arms slamming into the healer's chest and forcing them to the ground with a near inhuman strength.

"There. Good as new~" He snickered. "Now...if you would be so kind to elucidate the armored buffoon at my side, we can be on our merry way. If not well..." He trailed off, idly gesturing to the mutated patient. "My new friend may desire a bit of...compensation, for your inept practices. I'm sure you don't need both your arms~"

"Somehow, our cover has been blown. They can see all of us for who we really are. That's why no one will talk to us." responded Kenny, noticeably agitated, but not at Glacius. "Maybe we should just all come together and question The Nameless One ourselves OR maybe we should book it out of here."

The monsterized victim suddenly went rigid before slowly and harmlessly collapsing on top of the healer, having been rendered unconscious. While this was happening, the Doctor felt something cold and heavy on top of his head. A metallic object in the shape of a hand. Then out of nowhere, he was facing Mea who was just standing right behind him. 3 words were uttered by the knight.

"Turn it back."

The evil man hadn't noticed it yet but once his eyes moved downwards, he realized that his neck had been twisted in a full 180° and the pain was just starting to set in.

"Turn. It. Back.", the figure repeated slowly as if speaking to someone with an intellectual disability.

"Damn, think you made an owl of this guy..." thought zib while he was walking to Glacius and contemplated Mea's actions.
"OK, now I really should be prepared, won't become no owl or sieve today" this time he said on a low tone. He takes his bracelets off and his Mark IV suit materializes beneath his comfortable clothes, only appearing his hands covered in a dark red metallic...thing, only his head wasn't covered yet, to not give too many suspicions. Putting his bracelets on, again, 6 rings appear, 3 on each hand, that fulfill his body with power-expanding magic. Inside his head, he checked which spells he had prepared, thankfully they were the needed in the kit he imagine will be used, and a tiara with some pathetically ugly wing-like feathers being projected on each side is put over his head, also having the same effect of empowering.

With his bracelets ready to project the sword imagined for this combination, he approaches Glacius and Kenny
"Yeah I think it'll become violent here. Yall want to leave or fight? Ready for both, here."

"Hm?" The robbed man stared at Mea, raising an eyebrow. His neck had snapped completely, the soft crunch of bone breaking apart like wet twigs sounding across the temple hall. The healer, seizing the opportunity, pushed the unconscious man off him, scampering away into the crowd.

"Would you rather they be sickly again? Collapsed across the floor and moaning in pain? Frankly, I think he'll be happier this way." Despite having his body partially mutilated by the man's strength, he did not seem particularly uncomfortable. Whatever this...thing was, it was clear he wasn't completely human.

Those with enhanced senses would be able to feel a shift in the air, as if a stone had been thrown into a pond, creating ripples across its surface. An overwhelming presence was approaching the temple at extremely high speeds, flying through the atmosphere like a fighter jet and creating shockwaves in its wake. It would no doubt be upon them in only a few moments, leaving precious little time to decide a course of action.

It seems the cultists were calling backup...

Immediately as Anxiety tells it before everyone realizes, Zib's suit is now complete with a completely black metallic stuff like all his body has, covers his head, a broad but regular-sized sword appears in his hand and faster than the most keen eyes here could perceive, his sword gets 7 different incantations and Zib himself gets 2.
A black-masked guy with a coat written "Mama", an appalling tiara and a multicolored crystal sword may be a menace larger than expected by whoever is coming

((I'm deadass making some calcs to be sure how strong I am))

"Since when did you care about anyone's happiness other than your own? And you're saying that your method will rid them of their pain?", Mea's voice dripped with disdain as he questioned. The creature's head was then removed from its torso with a swift motion.

"I can hear everything. The cries of agony coming not from the mouth but from the very soul. You're not trying to help them. After all, why would you help something that you merely view as clay for you to play with? Something that only serves to SATISFY THE CURIOSITY OF YOUR ******-UP PSYCHE?!?", his rage was rapidly building with every sentence before eventually...

Mea impaled the head of the Doctor on his lance before raising it into the air for all to see.

"YOU'VE PISSED ME OFF!!! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU, GET THE **** OUT OR I'M KILLING YOU TOO!!!", he screamed out while projecting a small amount of his aura just enough to further frighten any bystanders. This was in fact an intentional action, a tactic that he had often used before or even in the middle of fights to scare away civilians in order to reduce collateral damage.

"YOU'VE PISSED ME OFF!!! This was in fact an intentional action, a tactic that he had often used before or even in the middle of fights to scare away civilians in order to reduce collateral damage.
Mea's clever use of his own aura, alongside the grisly display of the man's decapitated head, was more than successful. In droves, men and women, children and the elderly tumbled and stampeded out the large temple doors, pounding feet and panicked wails echoing through the rapidly emptying halls. Those who could not run were simply left behind: even the healers, touting their long robes and so-called 'miraculous' cures, did not so much as glance at the injured and sick as they scampered to safety. Much of the Fey followed their human companions, though a scant few retreated to the roof: peaking from high-up rafters.

Something that only serves to SATISFY THE CURIOSITY OF YOUR ******-UP PSYCHE?!?", his rage was rapidly building with every sentence before eventually...
The man's body slumped to the ground as his head was removed, robed flesh landing with a soft thump in a pool of blood: the liquid was dark and sickly looking, inhuman and cursed. He was not dead—Mea could easily sense the lifeforce coursing through the mutilated flesh at his feet—yet it seemed he was content with playing possum for now.

"Mea, enough, why did you do that? It was irrelevant and you completely eliminated any chance of solving the situation" He yelled at the knight after the act of decapitation

He put his claws on his face and sighed

"Get ready, i guess the boss is coming here"

((Thought we were all equal in the cap lol.))

Zib awaits, in his stance. His web is ready to pull anyone to get a part of his combination that worked so far. And if anything happens outside what he plans, he knows there is no such thing as death for him and he may be able to try again

((Reminder that I'm close to Glacius and Kenny))

Kenneth/Kenny/Ken, whichever name you wish to use for him, gets ready to fight. The red pyramid, Triforce of Power on his right fist glows an opaque red light as he charges, with his eyes showing an equally dark red glow. He readies himself for a fight, but doesn't make any aggressive actions yet.

Much of the Fey followed their human companions, though a scant few retreated to the roof: peaking from high-up rafters.
"YEAH *******!!! RUN FOR YOUR GOD DAMN LIFE!!! And don't ever let me see you here again...", Mea's voice lowered as most of the onlookers left in fear.

He crushed the skull on the tip of his lance to pieces before swinging it at the air to open a portal leading out of the Church and into a safe area he had seen within Atlantis, a medical center.

"Wasn't this city supposed to be super advanced? Why didn't they just go to a hospital? Are they that stupid or does the big ass UTOPIA written on the door not mean anything? Maybe the statue didn't want them to? Yeah, that has to be it.", the knight muttered to himself as he started carrying people who were left behind through the gate. He called his horse over to help speed up the process but then remembered the woman still sleeping on it.

"Eh, she'll do just fine on the floor. At least the coming battle will wake her up, hopefully...", said the figure as he lowered Yubi to the ground. Soon, everyone has evacuated the premises... All except for one.
Mea looked at the corpse with pure contempt before kicking it, sending it flying across the temple like a soccer ball. His gaze then shifted to the knocked out mutated patient. He knew there was no convincing the monster to return this one to its previous state so he was going to take matters into his own hands, quite literally. He placed them on the creature before channeling his spiritual energy into it. He wasn't certain whether this would work but it was worth the try.

"Oh? So violating people's souls and turning them into abominations are fine but waving the head of the one who did it around isn't? Don't answer that! ONE QUESTION! That was all I needed left to get that guy to speak but then the rat had to go ahead and screw it up!", Mea ranted as he continued to try to revert the transformation.

Before Zib's buffs deactivate, he renew the spell-based ones and approach Glacius and Mea, fully alert to the side of the presence that's coming

"I wanted to confirm something, I wanted to see if all of us who entered that Chinese copy of the Backrooms had a purpose, you know, like puzzle pieces, however I don't think we'll need any more pieces." Glacius looks at the transmuted creature

"Depends on what you consider to be strong.", Mea replied as he stopped projecting his energy.
The mutated patient's condition was an oddity. its flesh was mutated, engorged into a mess of bulging muscle, dark purple veins stretching messy lines across its surface, pumping purple-tinted blood. It ran deeper than a normal biological alteration, and thus, despite Mea's best efforts, he could make little progress in restoring him to his original shape through his normal methods. Its breaths came out in deep, ragged gasps, yet it did seem to be in much pain—a small mercy if nothing else.
"It's not working. Somebody who can heal souls would be able to turn it back to normal and the only one here who can do that caused this in the first place. We'll have to kill it if nothing else can be done, both to end its suffering and to prevent it from harming others.", he said in an almost somber tone.

Mea could hear the soft groans and wheezes of the injured and sick as he carried them to the portal. Some clung weakly to his armored arms, while others remained limp within his embrace, the life slowly but surely leaving their body like an ember that would soon cool to ash. Yet one by one, they disappeared into the entrance, those still conscious either too scared or too weak to protest. Whether they would get help on the other side was up in the air, but they were safe for now.

The body impacted the wall with a wet splat, wounds opening across the discarded corpse to weep fresh pools of blackness onto the ground below.

He came closer, he's been drinking the fear that was generated a few moments before, to become stronger, however he didn't generate that neither attempt to increase it, so it was more of a small impulse

"Look I get it, I know you're frustrated, I am too, I honestly don't know why we're doing this, I could pulverize this guy right now" he said referring to the rat man
Before Zib's buffs deactivate, he renew the spell-based ones and approach Glacius and Mea, fully alert to the side of the presence that's coming
~~BOOOM~~

Something large and fast SLAMMED into the ground outside, its meteoric impact causing the earth to shiver beneath their feet. Dirt flies skyward, displaced by the force and sent in every direction by the subsequent shockwave, covering the area in a thick layer of loose soil. The temple doors clamber open with a deafening creak, giving the party a clear look at the resulting crater...

...and at the man, standing at its center.

"Heretics and Infidels." His voice BOOMED across the island, deep and rich as honey, yet carrying with it the force of a thunderstorm: charismatic and threatening in almost equal measure. Those who could sense power would immediately realize he was far beyond anyone they had encountered in the temple; his very presence radiated an almost oppressive amount of energy, enough that the surrounding air seemed to distort and shift, blanketing his visage in a thin haze.

"
Outsiders who dare to take the facade of worshipers; who DARE to treat our leaders with such irreverence. Your actions spit upon the face of Old God." He brandished his hammer, the weapon enveloped in a radiance so intense it was almost blinding. "Make peace with whatever false idols you worship. I will show no mercy."

Glacius look at the quasi-Divine entity
"Before start, you has a ability to heal the soul? We want to save that person before it becomen something that cant be reverse, at least him and I dont want to bring the dead for someone unrelate to this" he point to the mutant

A woman in a brown dusty cloak breathed out, gentle light dancing on the last victim brought through... but sound travels, portals being mere rips in space, thus they'd transmit some energy of something loud such as that "...No further delays huh? Whatever is through there either comes here or is stopped out there." She muttered to herself "I hope my healing did you all the best and reversed the damage, but it sounds like the source must be stopped, here and now." She spoke gently to several of the traumatized patients, and with a deep breath, she dashed...

Out from the portal came barreling a brown bullet, rushing right at the source of that oppressive energy, nothing seemed to radiate from whomever it was yet, but it seemed to be rather unbothered by the aura to the point of ignoring it
