Manor's Attic (Roleplay)

((Would love to know what I discovered))
"Yeah, this Nameless King wannabe is controlling a lot of people with this strange aura. Thank you to my good mental state" thought Zib to himself, as someone highly resistant to magic, specially against people trying against his magic. His 'Anxiety'* tells him that this statue is definitely not a good thing, so he leaves its investigation for later, trying for now to lay low and not call up a negative attention. "Give me a few minutes" said Zib slowly gets a tiny bit distant from his fellows to try something- he rings the bell for his Hidden Body sorcery, allied with changing his Sword Ring to his Obscuring ring and casting Spook sorcery, he got completely unnoticeable. After that he came close to one of the praising/mind-controlled fellows around the statue, used his Rapport pyromancy to make the creature not his servant, just 100% friendly towards him as he needed to ask for more details about all this religion thing happening here.
Due to his enhanced body, his capability of doing magic regenerated with time, and allied to that, Zib renewed his Hidden Body sorcery and Rapport pyromancy so this fey creature always looked like it was still preaching/talking to itself while answering "Would you mind telling me everything you know about this religion?"

*-renaming for 'Spider-Sense'
((To yall I just disappeared. Sometimes you just hear a slight sound of a bell or a flame fading))

Meanwhile Ken looked around the magnificent house of worship. There was one large statue in the center of truly massive structure, standing at over one hundred feet tall. The idol? Icon? Whatever it was called, the statue was of an Angelic looking individual. The chest area implied the icon was of a man, as the upper half of his body was unclothed, while the lower half was robed. Further, the idol's face was hairless, and it seemed almost feminine, as the being's hands held what looked like a lightning bolt.

Yet there was more. Despite the statue emitting some strange kind of over powering energy, it's power seems to be neither good or evil. On the other hand, there's so much power emanating from it, that the protagonists don't understand why they aren't worshiping on the spot.
"Foolishness. There is only one God and it is neither you nor anyone else. None can ever compare to Him.", Mea muttered. The aura of this being didn't intimidate him in the slightest, rather it merely annoyed him.
"You there. . . "A dark fey, who's alignment registered as good spoke to Yubi. "You need to step outside for a moment and sign in."
"Apologies fellow believer. My friend is exhausted from our long journey here and we didn't want to disturb her rest just to sign her name so we did it for her. You can check again. Say, how did you know that she didn't do it?", he asked.
"Hu....h?" she rubbed her eyes, expecting to be on the horse again.
Yubi found herself to still be on Ludwig's back. The animal was disguised as a man carrying her so it didn't seem too suspicious.

"Hey, you're finally awake. We made it. We're in the Church now.", Mea said.

"Uhhh...." she looked around, "There's no women...." before just going to sleep.

The dark fey notices how the one who didn't sign up is actually so tired that they can't get up, so it decide to let this one pass and walked away as nothing just happened

The other fey creature, a light-skinned one with several expression marks on the face, seeming like will burst the oldest bad word in the dictionary to get the bell-ringing-ghost-voice away from it...simply talks to it. Explaining how much they love their statue, how is their process to say their prayers, where do they eat...anyway, not quite the information that Zib hoped to find...except for the fact that the head of the statue is in some sort of pin, on the right shoulders of some members of this cult, and that from all indications, those guys know more than the average religious creature in this place... Which Zib goes to tell Glacius and the gang, canceling his invisible magic set and going back to his combat set very quickly.

Glacius sighed, listening to every word of Zib

"Okay, do you think a pope or something is coming soon? I don't think the statue is the only source of their worship."

"Isn't that the role of the Nameless One or whatever? Kenny seems to know him well."
((Nameless One is what zib called him in his thoughts, remember that))

"I don't think the creature they worship is physically doing things here, since why would someone who has such a strange aura and is here not talking - or killing - us??"

(The Nameless One he's talking about refers to the old man Kenny encountered who's presumably the leader of the Elders, not the statue. Mea isn't reading his mind)

"It has a very wide range of influence if that's the case. No wonder it can convince the population to go to the war with the rest of the universe."

"I don't actually know, sorry" says zib, not worried about this anymore, as it seems.
"Is ok"

"Perphas we need to get close, so the statue will show itself as a enemy or whatever, to attack us like security mechanic"

"Should we try going to the statue with this ominous aura first or get to the pin guys to try and learn something? I'm heavily inclined to answer 'pin guys', so we should split, then?" Zib answers to Gladius with an honest question

"Pin guys sound like a better idea, if they dont want to cooperate, I'll possess them in case they don't want to answer" he said, it was a tactic of WAR, getting inside enemy minds is often easier than conventional torture, because while mental shields are one thing, prisoners of war were more likely to commit suicide when harsher torture tactics were used.

Kenny would speak with anyone who's alignment was good. So he would speak with the Dark Fairy. "I'm curious. How did an Unseelie Fey decide to turn towards goodness and light instead of evil?"

"Don't think we'll need to use nothing up to that point, but it's good to know we have a backup plan. Let's split in pairs so that none of them get scared or engages in an unwanted fight and we use different methods of making them talk. As Gladius has his possession methods and I have a 'diplomacy booster', so to speak, we shouldn't go together. Who's pairing with me and who's pairing with Gladius?" Says Zib, happy to come quickly with a reasonable strategy that everybody available seem to agree and wanting to discover a little about whoever comes with him, pacifically.

"He shall unite us all in the light and might of his thunderbolt. He shall unite us all in his kindness, surpassing even prejudices like yours to tell me I'm 'unseelie' when my shadow is about the same size as yours" says the fairy with initially a tone that would indicate it is just victim of brainwashing, but right after coming with a response breaking a little of this line of thought of proving that whatever technique is used for this control, is very refined and deep inside whoever seems to be spending too much time on this church

"And I completely concur, my fellow child of faith." The robbed man approached the fairy from behind, resting a hand on its arm. He smiled amicably.

"Our god is mighty indeed, is he not? Perhaps you could regale my friend with more of his teachings." He said. While he did so, he used his magic to discreetly touch the creatures soul, his fingers caressing its contours. He searched for any tampering: anything that would indicate they had been altered in some way, by the statue or otherwise.

"indeed, impressive is his might" answers the completely friendly dark-skinned fey. Hoping to help his new fellow, it explained how much they love their statue, how is their process to say their prayers, where do they eat...anyway, not quite the information that Zib hoped to find...except for the fact that the head of the statue is in some sort of pin, on the right shoulders of some members of this cult, and that from all indications, those guys know more than the average religious creature in this place...

"I'm getting some déjà vu from this, or maybe not. Didn't the other one tell us the exact same thing?"
