Manor's Attic (Roleplay)

((Really sorry, was absurdly busy today. What I don't respond, Zibs just there listening))
Kyros looked over the elf once, and let out a small scoff, seeming to disregard him as a threat just as quickly. “Don’t slow us down, and don’t be a bother, understood?” He asked Zib, quickly turning his attention to the other newcomer in the group before he could even get a response.
"Nah, I don't want to. We walk side by side, and I'm here if anything. Don't treat me bad, imma treat you well. Help me and I'll help you." Says zib still with his bell ready as his bracelet, not wanting to fight (and ready to avoid it and only avoid it) but evaluating if the tall fella wants it.

"Zib, you're Free to come with us, if you see anything out of place with your magic abilities, please tell us"
Turning away from the other icy fella, zib sees this other, friendly creature and with a friend friend and expression "gladly." comes out of the elf's mouth.

Could you please re-do the randomization? I cannot do this for now. If needed, I can be after the new sorted one.

(Oh I should probably do my job)

The temple was a grandiose affair, borne from great wealth and reverence. Aquamarine walls stretched for dozens of feet into the sky; they were thick and weathered as if constructed in a time where they served as much of a defensive fortification as a religious institution. Small archways served as the entrance to the inner courtyard: a series of salt-water ponds, thick with seagrass, running in several large strips across its length, the surrounding floor an aged, cracked cobblestone: decorated with minute pours from where the sea water had worn into the material.

From their vantage point, they could see a vast domed structure at the heart the of temple. Likely, this is where worship occurred. You could travel there if you wished, though the two stone doors that led to the inner chamber were guarded: two cultists bordering them on either side. They were lightly armed, with only a small blade tucked into their flowing robes: likely there more to keep the peace than seriously threaten anyone.

Other cultists busied themselves around the temple. Some cleaning, some tending to the lakes. They seemed amicable enough, if conversation was desired.
"Hm, the lackeys don't seem to have any special abilities unlike their leaders. I couldn't read them earlier for some reason, likely due to some kind of magic. Since we're in disguise, we should investigate first to learn more about this temple and the enemy."
"Well, the plan is simple, we go in through disguises, read/search what the leaders are planning, "D-Mat 'em 'til they aren't, and hit 'em when they weren't, and loot anything useful they have, you never know when you might use a xeno technology." Glacius quoted a simple strategy implanted in his consciousness
"You've got the right idea. I'm quite the walking lie detector so we won't have to worry about misinformation unless they themselves are misinformed."

(Damn, Midas got one line. Maybe I shouldn't have had Mea insult Doc so much)

Turning away from the other icy fella, zib sees this other, friendly creature and with a friend friend and expression "gladly." comes out of the elf's mouth.
Glacius looked at the Elf when he heard it, his expression changed from a normal face to a deformed one trying to process that name
"What" The Ice Dragon then rolled his eyes

"It's terrible... and I bet you all will use it to make fun of me" He said, although it seems that there was disgust in his voice, they can also perceive that he tries not to break the mood by pretending his contempt for that name

"What are you talking about?"
Zib is now making a scan through the recently discovered structure, Anxiety* hasn't caught anything and trying to understand what his fellow said caught him off guard to the point of interrupting his concentration in his magic

*spider-sense. Yeah I made this joke.

"Ahm...I guess my help is welcome, then, Mr... Gladly" zib tests his theory with an actual ">.>" as his face, as an experiment to see how awful is his way of expressing and if the only friendly creature is offended or complimented (but pretending the first) by an accident.
"But for real, should we be entering, now? Couldn't scan anything, so I guess it's close to safe"

"Ah Yes, I should do this before I forget to"
Zib then gets a sword from the inside part of his sweatshirt...not that a sword that big would usually fit in there, but even so, he did through his mechanisms.
The big, coiled sword then gets sticked on the ground, Zib gets some ashes and put them beside the sword and lit it up with a tiny fire, making that for Zib (and only Zib) a giant text appears in his back saying "BONFIRE LIT".
He sits there for a couple seconds only to do his secret, as he did not mean to rest for now, and gets up again as nothing happened

"Try not to die too much. I wouldn't want to see you go mad and have to be put down.", Mea said without looking at him as if he somehow understood the meaning of Zib's action.

"I don't know what you're talking about at all. Or if I do, think you forgot about a part of what you think you know, friend" says zib, not wanting to talk much about his secret since it may cause people to think wrong of him and a lot of trouble.
"Shall we go?"

Kenny, had already supernaturally disguised himself and his allies there. Telepathically, he warned the others. "Look out for The Nameless One. He's the eyeless old man I saw, and he can tell whether or not we are who we say we are. We might be able to disguise against him if we are a distance away, but up close the disguise might not work."

(Alright, I'm back.)

Seeing the elf's surprisingly strong will, Kyros couldn't help but chuckle to himself a bit. "So, you have a bit of backbone after all, eh? Fine then, do as you must."

Whilst they talked about what they should do in order to reach the leader of this place, an innocent looking robed boy began nervously approaching them, likely no older than twelve. When trying to sense it, there was nearly no ill will or evil within his heart. In one hand he carried a bright blue, glowing tablet, and in the other, a futuristic looking pen. No doubt that the child was some form greeter to visitors of the luxurious temple, but didn't mean to cause any harm to the group.

"H-Hi there, welcome to the Church of The Elders! Are you new, or r-returning members?" He hesitantly asked, clearly frightened by not only their various auras, but the sheer power and menace that seemed to emanate off of all of them.

The man glanced down at the boy, his pale face slowly twisting into a smile: saccharine and honeyed, an expression that painted a stark contrast with the sharp look of his gaze. He slowly put his hands on his knees, crouching down to the boys level.

"I'm afraid my companions and I are new. We're pilgrims, you see, and have traveled a great many miles to reach here."

Despite the demon's face being a little off-putting at first, his cloy expression leveled his unease enough to keep talking. "W-Wonderful! My name is Josiah, and I'd love to welcome you all in to our sanctuary!" He exclaimed with a smile, extending the pen and tablet over Doc, offering for him to take them. "I just need you all to sign your names here for registration!"

Kyros looked down at Josiah with suspicion, despite not sensing any form of malice in his heart. "What exactly are we signing for, boy?" the king asked gruffly.

"Come now, I'm sure this is simply standard procedure." The man said, waving dismissively at his companion. With slow, methodical strokes, he signed the name Absalom onto the tablet, before handing it over to Kyros.

Glacius began to think, although he sensed no malice in the boy, what if he was raised this way? You can make someone pure have a completely altered perception of reality, a child can see Hitler as a hero if the parents only teach him the good side and lie to him about the atrocities, time itself can be used to create a mask about what is true or what is a lie.

"Is the list of names really standard procedure?"

"...I wouldn't be overly concerned. If your disguises break we can simply subdue him, should he prove bothersome." The man said idly.
"Assuming he's alone. There are six of them and even if it's just him, we don't know exactly how strong he is.", Mea responded. His voice lowered to a whisper as he saw a young acolyte of the Church approaching the group.

"Be not afraid child.", he unconsciously uttered in a surprisingly mellow and comforting tone as if trying to calm Josiah down.

"To become followers of the gods obviously. Isn't that why we're here?", the knight asked while placing a hand on the king's shoulder (He isn't actually doing that of course because Kyros is big as hell. That's just what the kid sees thanks to the illusion).

It was another act, a silent reminder that they were infiltrating this place and should thus appear as friendly as possible to avoid drawing too much attention.

"It seems so. I suppose we must comply in order to join their faith.", he replied while putting his other hand on the dragon's shoulder as well (Again, I know Glacius is kind of too tall for that).

"Okay, my scan magics might help here" says zib absolutely fine.

Seeing the elf's surprisingly strong will, Kyros couldn't help but chuckle to himself a bit. "So, you have a bit of backbone after all, eh? Fine then, do as you must."
"You bet." Zib looks not 100% trusting with this one but won't be the one attacking nor the one accepting bs.

Zib sees no harm on this kid and with a simple telepathy trick signed his nickname in the paper

"okey" With that said the dragon signs the paper putting a false name, because for those of his class, his name means power, it is the closest to his true substance.

"Show us the way kid"

Zib saw Glacius signing then touched his shoulder and made a bone...thing.
"Hey, Glacius. As you seemed to be nice to me, lemme do a gesture of good faith with 'ya. Take this bone and before we enter this...church, I think, sit by a second back there where I put a sword on the ground. If anything happens and you break this bone, you'll be appearing there." Zib says while pointing at the sword sticked with a slight tilt on the ground with some white dust on its base that seems to be lit but with its flame fading, seeming that will be extinguished soon.

((Won't be appearing the 'bonfire lit' thing, and you won't be affected by the curse, the magic item works once and literally is what I said))

"And? One, six, I see no reason to fret. I'm sure you sensed that drunkard's power earlier." he gestured towards the sleeping woman they had brought along "Should things not go to plan, we simply use her as a distraction." his voice was a scant whisper, barely audible to Mea, much less the boy signing them in.

((Apparently we don't have to accept the faith, seems more like accepting cookies from a website or smth)
(The boy is under the assumption that they are already of the faith. My character told him they were all pilgrims)

Glacius tilted his head in gratitude, and followed the instructions, although in his mind he wondered why these people see him as good, perhaps it is because there has been no conflict yet, but looking to the church, he know that blood will Rain

(Alright, also guys you should delete all the Ooc things)

Silently, Kenny hoped that signing their names didn't mean anything, and he wrote down. "Aylin". Sure, the name was weird, but Kenny's earlier cursory glance at the world allowed him to catch a glimpse of Atlantis'es naming conventions.

"And? One, six, I see no reason to be overly cautious. I'm sure you sensed that drunkard's power earlier." he gestured towards the sleeping woman they had brought along "Should things go south, we simply use her as a distraction." his voice was a scant whisper, barely audible to Mea, much less the boy signing them in.
"I didn't, or rather I couldn't. It's a valid reason to be concerned.", Mea murmured in an equally quiet voice. He looked at where the Doctor was pointing and sighed.

"You're the only one in this group that I'll sacrifice without hesitation.", he mumbled.

"Why do I ever bother—Fine. Keep protecting your perpetually dozing damsel. I just invite you to consider the tools we have at our disposal. She need not be deadweight." The man muttered. He grimaced, yet tried to keep his displeasure hidden from the boy.

"Such strange people...really hope I get something for my researches in this place" thought Zib, waiting for the group to enter the church, after seeing Glacius do as he tokd

The Temple/Church

Inside the main building, things were very well kept and in order. There appeared to be mostly Humans here, but a few demonic faced entities, and even stereotypical fairy like beings and angelic looking creatures could be seen. Those who could detect alignment could tell even some of the fairy like creatures were good aligned, and the angels were fallen. A mysterious air of deception was very palpable here, but the mortals had almost no chance of telling they were deceived, yet.

Glacius made a face at the sight of the fairies, anyone could feel that he was starting to feel a certain anxiety but was undercontrol.

"Tools? That's one way to view others.", he said under his breath. Mea would take the pen and sign a fake name after the others had done so as well.

"They don't seem to notice anything strange. Let's keep it that way for now.", he whispered to the others.
Glacius made a face at the sight of the fairies, anyone could feel that he was starting to feel a certain anxiety but was undercontrol.
"I want to crush those insects between my palms as much as you do, but they're not our main target. Stay focused.", Mea quietly told him.

"Yeah...things aren't quite fine...but let me be a bit more prepared"
Zib quietly but quickly materializes his robe that improve his magical capabilites, his bracelet becomes a bell called Crystal Chime on his right hand and his left one lights up in a flame-ish red light with some Black details on them that somehow makes a few whispers start being heard. The materialization also makes a few rings in his hands, that also improve his prowess, one of them being a light green with a flower-ish detailing and another being gold-like with a sword on its top.
"Aight, what are we going to do now?" Says Zib, now equiped but not appearing to a menace as he's showing to be if anything goes wrong

-Yubi ZZZ-
"You there. . . "A dark fey, who's alignment registered as good spoke to Yubi. "You need to step outside for a moment and sign in." Meanwhile Ken looked around the magnificent house of worship. There was one large statue in the center of truly massive structure, standing at over one hundred feet tall. The idol? Icon? Whatever it was called, the statue was of an Angelic looking individual. The chest area implied the icon was of a man, as the upper half of his body was unclothed, while the lower half was robed. Further, the idol's face was hairless, and it seemed almost feminine, as the being's hands held what looked like a lightning bolt.

Yet there was more. Despite the statue emitting some strange kind of over powering energy, it's power seems to be neither good or evil. On the other hand, there's so much power emanating from it, that the protagonists don't understand why they aren't worshiping on the spot.

Glacius nodded to Mea, then looked at Idol, he wondered where the hell it came from, he felt its nature but he empty his mind of any attempt to control it

"Well, it may not be the source of power of this place, but at the very least it should be what fuels the faith of this place" The dragon says

"Yeah, this Nameless King wannabe is controlling a lot of people with this strange aura. Thank you to my good mental state" thought Zib to himself, as someone highly resistant to magic, specially against people trying against his magic. His 'Anxiety'* tells him that this statue is definitely not a good thing, so he leaves its investigation for later, trying for now to lay low and not call up a negative attention. "Give me a few minutes" said Zib slowly gets a tiny bit distant from his fellows to try something- he rings the bell for his Hidden Body sorcery, allied with changing his Sword Ring to his Obscuring ring and casting Spook sorcery, he got completely unnoticeable. After that he came close to one of the praising/mind-controlled fellows around the statue, used his Rapport pyromancy to make the creature not his servant, just 100% friendly towards him as he needed to ask for more details about all this religion thing happening here.
Due to his enhanced body, his capability of doing magic regenerated with time, and allied to that, Zib renewed his Hidden Body sorcery and Rapport pyromancy so this fey creature always looked like it was still preaching/talking to itself while answering "Would you mind telling me everything you know about this religion?"

*-renaming for 'Spider-Sense'
((To yall I just disappeared. Sometimes you just hear a slight sound of a bell or a flame fading))

The robbed man glanced at the statue before them, idly cocking his head.

"Oh? I suppose there may be some substance to their fanaticism. Whoever this...androgynous individual is, they must've been quite something." He mused quietly.
