So basically, your enemy tries to use their ability but it does something else instead or hugely backfires on them? Would this be Power Nullification?

Well, what if it explicitly make an attack just do something else? Character A tries to cast a spell but Character B makes it so that their attack causes them to turn mad or their arm to get blown off?

Alright, though I think Causality Manip also makes sense in this specific context too, so thanks all for the answers

Causality Manipulation can archive the same thing, but so can reality warping. The closest to what you have described without any context is power modification
