Magus via better character art

Right so I don't know how forcefields would interact with Yuga's little shoving technique but unless portrayed differently he should still be able to just point-and-push him into the painting.

So... Yuga flattens GG, I guess?

Hmm, this is tough to decide. Magus does have a barrier that absorbs light, dark, fire, and water magic. And his Black holes are probably his best ability, though that reminds me that his range appears to be heavily downplayed. He either has or scales from range feats way better than tens of meters.

That being said, Ganondorf does have a lot more abilities, though Magus could resist a lot of them with Schala's Amulet or Gloom Helm. He also resists Space-Time manipulation, but I'll hold off from voting for now.

I think it's safe to assume Magus can absorb magic in general (except for the element he's using). But his "black hole" has very limited range, and his normal moves cannot bring down Ganon for his regen, though that doesn't mean Magus can't use them to get close.

On the other hand, Ganondorf is limited in his options because the barriers are going to be a pain for Ganon as he's forced to use non-magical things, though he should be able to figure out quite quickly about the weakness of the barrier (aka it doesn't absorb the element Magus uses), and some of Ganon's haxes get resisted as they coincide with some in-game statuses that Magus resists.

Ah so Magus nulled magic passively.

Then I am a vote in someone's pocket, I'll wait till all points are said and done before giving votes since I already messed up once kek

It be cool for Magus to use his scythe to counter Death Man's volley. But yeah, Magus' spells are mainly AoE and not projectile like. Dead Man's volley is usually lightning though, so if Magus most recently used fire or ice, then he would absorb Dead Man's Volley.

There could have been more done with that fight with Ganondorf at Ocarina, like manipulating the gravity, messing up your controls, messing with your healthbar, etc.

That's not the time Hagane

I mean, Ganondorf still has his nigh-invulnerability and regen, so it's not like those magic attacks will do much.

Magus' soul manipulation comes from his attack called Hell Geyser.

I wasn't using it as a reason, I just thought someone asked where Magus' soul manipulation comes from.

The problem is that I fear me, Cal, DDM and Hagane are the only members of the site that know both series, and none of us has voted... Someone needs to break this balance.

I'll go ahead and vote inconclusive for reasons on both sides.

It's because one, neither one could BFR each other and they resist each other's hax, or some of Ganondorf's better hax is OOC. And Magus absorbs some of Ganon's magic.

ugh

guess I'll help Triforce move this along

Incon FRA

I really don't like saying this, but this is a stomp. I didn't realize it at first, but Magus's black hole is not a real one and only BFR. From which Ganon has all the needed range to come back, meaning that yeah, Magus has no wincons here, as he cannot bypass Ganon's Low-Godly.
