Lowest Tier Characters that could defeat Tatsuya Shiba and his Decomposition

Thought based by spawning screws and after that instant

Also how can you erase the action of erasing when there is no action to break

Once the time is erased Tatsuya can't do anything anyway

I cant verify anything said by OnePunchSaitama, as i am currently still reading the LN. So take everything said with a grain of pepper.

once its erased Tatsuya could "regrow" it theoretically. That's his ability

Also Kumagawa must project the action of eraing. It's a technique which involves manipulation of eidos. That's left hand game for him to handle.

He cannot use it if his brain is destroyed or his existance erased by all fiction.

@onepunch

He can't regrow it because no time has passed. Kumagawa erases his own time

Let's say Kumagawa wanted to run behind someone

Running behind them would take 20 seconds

Kumagawa erases his own time and thus it is instant. There is nothing to regrow it just makes his actions instant and unavoidable.

Hs doesn't need to project the action of erasing he just thinks and causality based ee takes care of the target

Nah Yurika resist everything tatsuya has while Misogi is faster than tatsuya and all fiction gg.
Resist? like what? We now actually have two characters who claim with NLFs. one claims that its resistant to all forms of manipulation the other claims it can destroy anything it identifies.

Dude just read her profile.

Only if Kumogawa isnt destroyed first. Plus isn't Tatsuya gonna forsee any attempts to change Eidos at the level of all fiction?

How? How fast is tatsuya? The last time his profile still exist his speed is around sub rel.

Kumagawa can't be destroyed first since he opens up with erasing his own time which is thought based meaning he will attack first

How about we drop this subject till i get around to make the profiles (Or OnePunchSaitama)? We are discussing nothing meaningfull with unverifiable informations

There is nothing to "regrow". Yes there is, Kumagawa performed the "Actions" (which are actually doing the task and Erasing time log).

Once you establish this it's clear that you are altering the Tree which Tatsuya reads in Eidos dimension. He can reconstruct whatever Kumagawa erased here therby making it eidos finite again.(That's the regrowth if used by him).

The second way is when Kumagawa first decides to alter his own Eidos(in this case the first time taken to delete this very time log) in this case Tatsuya simply prevents the attempt. If "Magic" doesn't occur itself the affect also will not happen. In this case Kumagawa fails to erase the time.

Yeah i agree.

No offense but people tend to wank Tatsuya a lot in every other forum i find without providing the necessary scan.

speed is variable, it may even be instant once he enters the dimension with his Elemental Sight. This has been done thrice. It's simply a searching of everything. This is the same speed at which his regrowth and decomposition occur.

If you are talking about actual combat it's superhuman. It would be likely at level of Spiderman or Captain America. Though it can be amped up with magic(Flash Cast)

While using flying CAD massively hypersonic.

Why not actually make a profile first so your claims can be verified?

@Witch Yeah, he definitely needs a profile to set the record straight considering the claims that are being made

Please don't quote huge walls of text like thjat

You do realize that Tatsuya and others are compared to what one may call "Quantum computers"? they do all the phenomena alteration via "will" as well? Put it simply yes he is also using thought based computing.

If you're not gonna make the profile before arguing for the character at least post some scans to back up your claim.

Causality Manipulation (can erase causes and effects with All Fiction)
Would it also erase the actual tree of relation of causal nexeus?

That's what Tatsuya reads when he uses elemental sight.

C'mon make his profile. I want to see his profile get resurrected. The last i remember his profile was not that haxed as you claimed it to be.

Iihiko Shishime-Any counter to everything he does being ignored until he is rubber banded

Goetia-Does he have any counter to having his soul and mind ripped out and sent to purgatory instantly. Or to Goetia going back in time and killing him as a child, or firing off AAS

Saber (Shiki Ryougi) her wish granting would bypass his powers since it comes from akasha which is at least low 1-C

I don't know about Shiki, how does her wish granting works again? Instant? Thought based?

The Doctor from Doctor Who has casaully resisted at least six different attempts to disintegrate him physically, casually resisted an attempt by the Charon (a being capable of creating universes) to erase him from reality by picking him apart molecue by molecue, and on at least two different occasions, casually brought himself back into existence despite being erased. Heck, he once erased himself via Block Transfer Computation for no other reason than to give himself more time to think about how to take down the villain of the day (since the villain has no way to hurt him while he was erased), which shows that the Doctor is capable of surviving being erased from reality. The TARDIS is also programmed to reconstitute the Doctor in the event he is erased, so there's that.

The fact that the Doctor is mapped onto the Time Vortex (as a concept), which exists in interstitial space (which is located outside of reality), means that he himself exists outside of reality (and this is straight-up given as a reason he can casually resist having his concept erased). The Time Vortex is the intersection between time and space itself, so the Doctor's conceptual existence is literally tied to the continued interaction between time and space. Through equalization, you can say that the Doctor's concept being mapped onto the Time Vortex is his eidos, but that means that Tatsuya has no way of affecting it because he has nothing to interfere with time or space themselves. I daresay that because the Doctor can resist physical disintegration and also can resist having his concept erased, and the fact that he has ways to reconstitute himself even if erased, would show that he can easily ignore the effects of Decomposition. Furthermore, if magic is equalized, then the Doctor is also casually anti-magic (magic simply stops working in his presence).

@Hallowed Ground the man

You do mention an interesting character, But i don't think it will save him. Tatsuya shows the new capability of even destroying souls. Strictly nothing now exists which could escape him right now.

The Doctor's fate than in reality lies in the fact whether or not Tatsuya can "see" him. If he see him than it won't take any time to unconstruct him. Right now Tatsuya's eye is projected to "see the world itself". Any such abberation like the Doctor could be seen.

Actually i was waiting on the limitations of what he can "See"in the upcoming arc. Once the limitations are clear many should be added in.

The Doctor has casually blocked attempts by foes to disintegrate him several times already. The fact alone that the Doctor casually blocked an attempt by an entity that can create universes who tried to erase him from existence, should be proof positive that the Doctor can easily resist Decomposition, since said entity is far and above Tatsuya's paygrade and tried to do to the Doctor basically what Decomposition does. And even when he was erased, the fact that the Doctor exists outside of reality allowed him to still survive and reconstitute himself anyway via Block Transfer Computation (essentially reality warping by thinking and doing math hard enough). The Doctor being conceptually mapped ontop the intersection between time and space (and thus nowhere in reality itself) is explicitly stated to be the reason he can casually resist attempts by his enemies (including the aforementioned entity that can create universes) trying to erase him. Heck, the Doctor very easily reconstituted himself despite being erased, at least twice already. The second time occured right after the universe was destroyed and he himself recreated it, no less. The Doctor's time machine, the TARDIS, is also designed to reconstitute him. In fact, the Doctor has very easily brought himself back into existence even when erased on at least two occasions.

The Doctor can also access the Skasis Paradigm, the formula that underpins the universe itself and he can use to become a reality warper on the spot. He can easily use it to render Tatsuya's abilities useless. Even if Decomposition can affect the Doctor's body, he can use Block Transfer Computation or the Skasis Paradigm to reconstitute his body and render himself immune to Decomposition thereafter. Nothing also stops a bloodlusted Doctor from using these to unconstruct Tatsuya either, and then block him from using Regrowth to revive himself. Essentially, Block Transfer Computation is the Doctor's version of Decomposition and Regrowth. The Skasis Paradigm is Decomposition and Regrowth on steroids, as the Doctor can use it to functionally do the same thing as those spells, but additionally turn the entire universe into his own personal playground (and alter any aspect of it as he wishes and even rewrite all of its laws) if he wants to. The Skasis Paradigm can easily be used to completely erase the Information Dimension (which would prevent any Mahouka magic from being used).

The Doctor doesn't have a "soul" in the conventional sense. "Souls" in his franchise are synonymous with the mind or a person's creativity. So we either assume that such attacks are mental attacks or flatly don't affect Doctor Who characters at all. And the Doctor has shown incredible ability at resisting and subverting mental attacks. Alternatively, we can postulate that a spell like Far Strike can affect the Doctor's concept, but as mentioned, the Doctor's concept doesn't exist in reality, but a place beyond and outside of it. Not every entity that has a soul is going to be vulnerable to Tatsuya's ability to affect "souls", simply because some entities either don't have "souls" in the sense Mahouka defines the term, or those entities are strong enough to subvert something like Far Strike.

The Doctor exists outside of reality, and if the information dimension is seen as the "fabric of reality", the Doctor shouldn't even be visible there at all. His conceptual existence isn't located in reality to begin with. So there are two possibilities. 1) If the Doctor can be seen in the information dimension, and you try to use Decomposition on his Eidos located there, his "true Eidos", located in the intersection between time and space, is still intact and will serve as a "backup" and will maintain the integrity of his structure, so he's not affected by Decomposition, since the success of the spell is predicated on affecting the Eidos. 2) If the Doctor cannot be seen in the information dimension, then you can't affect him with Decomposition (or any magic at all) since there is nothing to affect. The Doctor can also "memory-proof" (make it so that you cannot even remember) information about himself that is "quamtum-stored" and exists on "12 levels of reality", so it's not improbable that he can make his own Eidos imperceptible to anyone who tries to look for it in the information dimension.

The Doctor is also comprised of many, many dimensions and can extend his form into other dimensions to protect himself from dimensional attacks. Unless Tatsuya can decompose whole dimensions, let alone several at once, he shouldn't even be able to affect this aspect of the Doctor. That's still not getting into the fact that if abnormal alterations to physics are made in his vicinity, the Doctor can simply force them to cease and make normal physics reassert itself, which effectively nullifies magic that tries to affect his immediate vicinity. The Doctor's race, the Time Lords, were the ones who erased the very idea of magic from the universe and crafted the laws of physics to underpin very fuunctions and concepts of the universe. Through this process, they also made members of their species, including the Doctor, casually immune to the effects of magic. Mahouka's magic is rooted in the laws of physics and bending said laws to create phenomina in the "real world", using the information dimension as a vector. This would fall under "abnormal alterations" to physics and the Doctor's innate ability to force physics to function normally according to the laws that underpin it, will cause Mahouka magic to fail to work by default.

Tatsuya being able to "see the world" doesn't necessarly mean that he can see other dimensions or other universes or objects that are comprised thereof (of which the Doctor himself is one such thing) or that he can see the interaction betweeen time and space. The Doctor, however, can, if he wants, see every single possible timeline, past, present, and future as and when he wants. I daresay his perception far outstrips Elemental Sight. The Doctor can also make thousands of calculations in his head in nanoseconds and possesses pricision timing such that he can move and react in such a manner that it outstrips many times the speed of light, so he can easily be faster on the draw than Tatsuya. The same ability allows the Doctor to walk between the blades of industrial fans without being harmed. He also has billions of years worth of memories and expeirences in his head and possesses an intimate knowledge of how the universe works and also of magic. He is leaps and bounds far more intelligent that Tatsuya is.

The Doctor's time machine, the TARDIS, is also infinitely huge and is thus an entire universe unto itself. If the Doctor is inside of it, I highly doubt Tatsuya can even see him or into it, with Elemental Sight. Furthermore, the TARDIS contains within its interior, an entire star. The baryonic mass of the TARDIS (and the things inside of it) is enough to crush the Earth into rubble if the Doctor so chooses to turn off its gravity modulating device. The Doctor can easily decide to chill out somewhere else (another planet, time period, or dimension, etc.) and program the TARDIS to bust the planet and Tatsuya can do jack squat about it. If the Doctor is sufficiently bloodlusted, he could simply go back in time and kill Tatsuya's ancestors and prevent Tatsuya from even being born. The Doctor can also easily imprison Tatsuya in the TARDIS for eternity and Tatsuya will never be able to break out unless he is a universe buster (which he isn't).

The Doctor can also use the TARDIS or his sonic screwdriver (the Doctor's swiss army knife-like device) or votex manipulator to warp Tatsuya to the bottom of the ocean, the vacuum of space, straight into solid rock, or into the core of a star, which will kill him instantly. Even if Regrowth triggers, Tatsuya cannot extricate himself from this situation, and thus will be killed over and over again in this persistently lethal environment until he runs out of psions to sustain Regrowth and thus dies for good from psion exhaustion. The sonic screwdriver can also fry or rewire brains and minds, so the Doctor can also use it to rewire Tatsuya's MCA and cut him off from his magic.
