From the scan on Dream's page of 1-A Dream, there is a quote that the oldest Dream is "The dream of the first created things. Those that sleep in the space beneath space"

Hence I took that to mean Azathoth

That Dream was obviously meant to be Yog-Sothoth and that sleeping thing was likely referring to Azathoth as everything will be destroyed when it wakes up
