@Weekly I was really trying not to post this here, but thats been a rule here forever, something an admin should know.

"When making a match using a character that has Immortality Types 4 and 8 (Exclusively based on existing so long as a higher-dimensional being/entity exists) where the opponent has no way to bypass this, it is automatically restricted."
I know, i wrote that rule. It doesnt include type 9 though

>>> (Exclusively based on existing so long as a higher-dimensional being/entity exists)

/\ See, this is the criteria and the mechanic.

Doesn't matter the immortality number. If it fits within "You need to get rid of higher dimensional x" then the rule is in effect.

@Pachi 682's immortalities were both restricted against Kharn so no, he's not part of that group
By Khorne via powernull, I suppose.

ACtually 682 would oneshot 4-B Kharn now, he's in the gigafoe while Kharn is only in the Megafoe i believe

The 5-A versions werent used but a calc should probably done to get 682's GEB for being large enough to eat Saturn and Jupiter

Link via the reasoning of not leaading with sealing and having no way around 682's conciousness, which even if you want to restrict it down to 3-D, he still has no way to destroy

Me neither, but I like to just side with whoever's winning on threads like these. Feel free to switch my vote if Link's reasoning ends up getting debunked.

Litterally no one said he did.
Have you been reading this thread...? Thats literally everyone's reasoning for Link winning
One also is petrification, which to me is silly, since it's just a type of transmutation, which 682 is resistent to.

Weekly ya only one who mentioned leading.
Then anyone who stated that Link wins via sealing shouldnt be counted as that implies he's using it right off the bat before 682 can do anything

If he's not leading with sealing then how does he win here? If he hits 682 with anything other than sealing right off the bat 682 will adapt to become stronger than him

Implying a timestop will do anything to a creature that adapted to be able to move in a higher-dimensional plane

Implying that higher dimensions don't have time, nor that freaking 10-Bs have moved in 1-A realms and don't resist time hax.

You implied it when you said that 682 adapting to moving in higher dimensional space (btw, didn't need to adapt for that) is in the same vein as time stop, which is very untrue. Moving in higher dimensional space means naught when it comes to time related abilities unless you're higher dimensional yourself, and 682 lost that sense of himself.

SCP 682 has no Resistance to Time Manipulation, and moving in higher-dimensional planes means nothing on it's own. That would only apply to the actual 1-B SCP who has Immeasurable speed, movement beyond linear time. Not regular 682.

I'll answer you.

682 has eventual adaptation and AP. He also has mind hax. Assuming he'd reach Link's level before being offed, Link's invulnerability and intangibility renders pure AP moot, along with resurrection and healing, and the Heart Ring minimizing potential damage, and has resistance to mind hax. Maybe those localized space-time anomalies could work, but those are more far and few between than the argument about Link's sealing.

Link has his Silver Arrows, Ancient Arrows...maybe, time stop, sleep manipulation, and of course, sealing. Link however, is a dude who exploits his opponent's weaknesses first, consorts his sword and hat before doing something reckless. So him using those early on is far more believable than not. All of the options he needs are also good for incapacitation, so the universal destruction trigger doesn't activate, and if it does, due to the Silver Arrows, due to having TF given precog and the ability to instantly BFR himself due to Hero's Shade powers allow him to escape it. And worse comes to worse, he wishes for a way to off 682 with the Triforce.
